Lovely friendly boutique campsite right smack in the middle of Salisbury plain. Lovely walks from the site and a short distance to stone henge and similar. If you’re an off roader there are lanes within metres..HIGHLY Recommended

Amazing facilities, very clean. Everything you need, even have a microwave and kettle to use in the kitchen area. The campsite itself is very peaceful and we can't wait to return.

+ Generally very nice, very clean, well kept. Nice people.- Feels a bit like camping in someone's garden with house/flats so close. Wasn't a fan of the various clip art in the bathrooms, understand why... They just come across as a bit passive aggressive - being direct might be better - just have a short serious note, 'please flush/tidy for other users'

What an absolute gem of a site.We arrived to a warm welcome from Jackie and set up on a flat, spacious and tidy pitch. The site is beautiful, very well looked after and the facilities are some of the cleanest we have seen. You pay 50p for the shower however this is not a problem as the showers are spotless and consistently hot.The site is set on the edge of the village with easy access to the main roads which makes exploring the area easy.We had a lovely time getting to know Jackie and having cuddles with her 3 gorgeous dogs. We are a family of Rottweiler lovers so my son was excited to see them every day.Unlike some sites the rules are relaxed (within reason) which means you can enjoy your holiday the way you want to. This meant that everyone staying on the site was respectful of each other and of the facilities .One piece of advice would be to empty your bin each night as we had a visitor into our tent. A very sweet but mischievous cat had come in looking for a snack during the night. We did not want our holiday to end and could of happily stayed for another week.We will definitely be returning to Brades Acre, if you are looking for a relaxing holiday with great company, this is the place for you.

The site is well kept, the toilets and other facilities are always well kept and spotlessly clean. Jackie, Tony and family are lovely and welcoming, we consider them friends we go to visit rather than just somewhere to stay with our caravan. We have just come back from our third visit with a group of friends this year and will be going back again in August. The site hasn’t activities or entertainment, which is great for us, it is just a lovely place to chill, have a campfire and chat. Ideally suited for dog walks directly onto Salisbury Plain.
