Like many, I've had a bad experience in the past when it comes to vehicle rental firms and underhand practices. Thankfully no issues here - Ben was very helpful and made the whole process straightforward. The van I hired was fine, no issues with that. Would happily use again and recommend to anyone looking to hire a vehicle.

Had a 2 week hire of a Transit for a part business, part holiday trip to Scotland during an unexpected cold spell. Received a newish van in good condition that we used all of its winter weather features more than we expected as most of the trip was sub zero temperatures. Electrically heated windscreen, mirrors and seats were used most days and the traction control did a great job on some icy roads.Great van and great hire company to deal with.

Excellent experience at the saltney branch, I've rented quite a few vehicles in the past and this was definitely the easiest. Ben who dealt with me was very friendly and made the whole process simple. The van was brand new and perfect for my needs.

Hired a Luton Van for a house move one weekend. Prices were really competitive and Ben was really friendly and easy to deal with. Ben went round with me noting any marks on the van before my hire which was reassuring and he also gave me a quick lesson on how to operate the tail lift etc. Would defiantly use them again!

I'm always a bit on guard when dealing with car and van hire places.. I always seem to be stung with extra charges or otherwise get turned over.. So it was a refreshing change to have a good experience at Practical in Saltney. I booked the night before, great rate, picked up an immaculate, brand new VW Transporter the next day. Ben, the chap I dealt with was professional, courteous and went the extra mile by offering use of a motorbike ramp ( I was picking up a motorbike) I dropped the van off overnight, my deposit was refunded. All super easy and stress free. I will definitely be back. Two thumbs up.
