Stay Balanced

The alpaca walking was an amazing experience! Nilesh & Gavin were so welcoming and it really added to the experience with the super cute alpacas. I highly recommend Stay Balanced for a unique adventure!

We had a lovely weekend at stay balanced. We wanted to just get away from day to day life for a couple of days, and could not have chosen better. As soon as we walked in we instantly felt relaxed, and realised we were just about to be treated to an amazing weekend. The accommodation is 5 star in every aspect, the hosts have thought of everything you would want... from some lovely local goodies to make you feel welcome, complimentary eco friendly toiletries to use, an honesty bar in the summerhouse to the most luxurious bedding. It really seems like nothing has been left to chance to ensure you have a fabulous relaxing time. We took our dog Mikey, who also had a great time exploring the outside space, which was totally secure and safe...he also enjoyed the treat jar that was left for him. I've never 'not wanted' to leave a place as much!! Some lovely local walks, great local pub, and you can also take advantage of the other 'Stay balanced' facilities on hand.. we had the Afternoon tea treat, under the eye of the friendly Stay balanced Alpacas. We are going back again very soon!!

Booked in for the Alpaca walk and an afternoon tea.Gavin and Nilesh were the perfect hosts. They were really engaging and friendly. They both made us feel very welcome.The scones were served with a generous helping of thick clotted cream and a georgous strawberry jam. The sandwiches were catered to our needs.It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere, both my husband and I were truely impressed with the quality of the service, surroundings and food. We personally feel that Stay Balance excelled itself and could not be faulted.We would most certainly be visiting again soon.

We went on the Alpaca experience which included walking with them and feeding them. Gavin and Nilesh were great hosts. Their enthusiasm for their alpacas was very evident. Their competence showed through as they were able to answer every question we could conceivably imagine. The alpaca’s were very calm and charming characters. We were able to interact with them and had great photo opportunities as the animals were relaxed in our presence. Well worth a visit.

The barn is just beautiful, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a short stay & decorated to a beautiful standard throughout.Gavin & Nilesh are very attentive hosts, who have thought of everything! The little touches such as fresh eggs in the welcome Hamper really do make a difference!In a fantastic location, with easy access to Newport, Cardiff & surrounding areas.There really is nothing better than waking up to the happy faces of the Alpacas at the fence.We will definitely be back!

I was very fortunate to visit Stay Balanced for afternoon tea & feeding the Alpacas. It was delightful to interact with them & walking them. I can highly recommend it. The tea was plentiful & delicious. Certainly worth a revisit when I am next in South Wales.

This place truly is a home from home. We stayed at the Barn for a long weekend getaway and a spot of Christmas shopping in Cardiff.Gavin and Nilesh have really thought about every little detail, with everything you could possibly need provided. The space is well furnished and feels more spacious than it appears in the photos. A particular highlight for us was the log burner providing plenty of warmth on a chilly winter’s evening!Sadly our stay was during a rainy weekend in December, so we didn’t get to make use of the outside space or spend much time with the alpacas, but I’m sure we’ll be back in sunnier times for a longer break, and now knowing how dog friendly it is we’ll bring the pooch as well!Thanks again for an excellent stay guys!

Highly recommend for anyone with or without children. The hosts were very friendly. Great experience walking with the alpacas and feeding them. Afternoon tea party was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon. Thank you to Nilesh and Gavin for welcoming us to “stay balanced”!

Just returned from a fabulous stay at Stay Balanced. The hosts Gavin and Nilesh were so lovely and have thought of everything for a luxurious high end stay. The alpaca walking experience through the woods within their property was just magical and the afternoon tea after was delicious. I absolutely loved the accommodation, the immediate surroundings and the animals and would highly recommend Stay Balanced for a peaceful, relaxing break away.

We had a wonderful stay with our 18-month old baby and dog. Gavin and Nilesh were responsive and super friendly! The pictures do not do it justice for the amount of space and atmosphere of the barn. The alpacas were just incredible and we had lots of outdoor space which our little one loved exploring. We cannot thank them enough for such an amazing stay and experience. Cannot wait to come back :-) P.s. must use the shampoo and conditioner, it left our hair glowing!
