Another great night out with friends at M&C Haywards Heath. Not only was the food absolutely amazing but so was the service. Tabby was so lovely and just had the knack of knowing when to arrive as soon as we needed service. Thank you all for a lovely evening and still one of my most favourite places to go for a special night out.

Went again recently, very good food burger was very tastyVery good food , steaks cooked to preference . We went on a Thursday and they had a set menu for just under £30 a person. Great deal. You can choose from their many steaks or other mains. Had calimari to start and the black Angus 12oz (+£7) and a brownie. Nice setting to. Is expensive if you don't do the set menu. Our bill for 2 people was £95 the set menu and 2 drinks each but worth it.

Lovely atmosphere and even a roaring fire! Angie was a lovely server, friendly and knowledgeable when we asked for recommendations of how to have our steak cooked. Calamari for starter was so crispy and decent sized portion. Then steak sandwich for mains which was delicious, and again decent portion of fries. Would definitely visit again, and we aren't local!

Arrived around 4.30 pm. First time visiting. Had a nice welcome. The air con was pumping out to an empty restaurant and was quite cold. Ordered ribs and a steak with sides. Food came out quite quick, all good apart from partner lettuce side was wrong, and my fries were barely warm. Asked waiter to change them and they made a big thing about being straight from the fryer, well I think they should have been in the first place. Anyway ended up being an OK meal in a glorified harvester.

The staff were very friendly and patient. Patient, because some members of our group took their time to decide what they wanted to eat and drink, as well as complicate their orders. Unbeknownst to me, there was a birthday surprise arranged for me and the two other members that were celebrating birthdays. Our waitress carried this out beautifully and she and the manager were offered homemade cupcakes on top of their tip (we had cupcakes instead of one big cake).

I came for lunch with my friend who is a full time wheelchair user. Your staff were extremely polite and very helpful.Being quite a short person and sitting on a chair which had obviously been well used, I found the table to be a little bit high for me. I asked a member of staff if I might borrow a cushion to sit on, but instead, she and another lady exchanged my chair for a more suitable one. It was no trouble for them to do it and they were smiling and very pleasant.
