I recently had a wooden pergola built to my requirements, in a drab looking area of our garden, by Essex Verandas. The price was very competitive. Quality of materials used, were exceptional. The standard of workmanship on the project, was second to none. I believe that this newly formed company have a very bright future ahead of them. Lovely people. I would highly recommend them, and will certainly use them again in the future.

I contacted Kevin at Essex Verandas to enquire about adding a glass canopy to our single storey barn. After providing some basic information on requirements and size over the phone, Kevin was able to give an idea on cost. Once I confirmed this was acceptable, Kevin booked in for a site visit. During that visit we discussed my requirements and he was able to show me samples, discuss options and take detailed measurements.Leona then sent me a detailed CAD drawing of the canopy, along with a final cost breakdown including manufacture, delivery and erection, plus she answered my questions and addressed any concerns I had. Once I signed off the drawings, I paid a 50% deposit to book my slot.The veranda was delivered on time (within 3 weeks) and Kevin and Rob booked a slot 2 days later to erect. They turned up first thing and got straight on with the job. They worked efficiently, they were incredibly tidy, respectful of our property and totally cleaned up and removed any debris. They had to lift some of our block paving to dig support holes and all this was recut and put back perfectly. The final result is a beautiful canopy, which blends in with our barn, totally transforming our courtyard by providing a slim stylish cover over our outside furniture and back door delivering a wonderful useable outside space.I’ve dealt with lots of building / maintenance companies over the years, some of which have been very disappointing, however Essex Verandas are one of the very best. They have delivered a top quality product and service at a very competitive price, exactly as and when they promised and I highly recommend them.

You are never sure what you are going to get with any company. Essex Verandas certainly excelled. From initial contact to the finished Simplicity 16 Carport. It's an excellent looking finish. Both Leona and Kevin were very professional throughout and I would not hesitate to use them again. You will not be disappointed.

From start to finish, great communication and no trouble of any kind. I requested the posts to be installed in a certain way and they did that with no issues at all. The result was fantastic, better than I hoped. I wish more home improvement companies would be this good.
