I had an appointment @ 9:00 for MOT and interim service (£170 i paid) on the 9/12/2023.I called in at 8:59,to advise I'll be 10 minutes late. The person on the phone said i will have to reschedule, i said im close ill be only 10 minutes late, is that not ok, he said he'll check, then he said it'll have a knock on effect and i have to be in at that moment 9:04. I said, im literally almost there and there was a bit of a back and forth which is actually slowing me down. But he hung up on me.I arrive in the reception at 9:12, knowing im a bit late and i mentionedit. However they still took my car. I told them my tyres are almost legal limit and i know about it, but I'll come another time for the tyres. Their welcoming and responces were very off putting towards me... Sometimes not even aknoweldging what i was saying....Then I requested if wheel allignment can be added, they said yes and it will take more time. Then, i was thinking to my self, they literally wanted to cancel my appointment because i was 10 minutes late, but now u can add wheel allignment, what about the knkck on effect?They told me a price of £79.95 for 4 whhels. Then i called other Mr tyres to double check and they told me £69.95 for 4 wheels and that i shouldn't do the wheel allignment untill i change my tyres.I phoned Mr tyre northampton back and told them 1st the orice i was given is wrong and 2nd they should have stopped me from doing wheel allignment when they know i was going to change my tyres very soon with them.Additionaly, they told me interim service is only oil change and nothing else. I checked and it is oil change, oil filter change and 34 points check.I am a bit in 2 minds if the service was done accordingly and also in 2 minds if to go back there to change my tyres with wheel allignment soonAlso my interior was stained with mechanic oil, that shouldnt happen. Pic attached.Beside that, when i went back to collect the car, they were a bit more customer friendly and he advised me on what tyres will be best for my car when i do change them.

My current go to tyre fitter in Northampton. Very reasonable prices and friendly, swift service. Recommend.

Fitted new back tires in an hour time slot which I booked. Make sure you ring up to see if they what you need.Staff where great.

I took my Jaguar FType into Mr Tyre to ask advice on a new exhaust system. I was directed to Cory who I must say was very polite and professional. He is self taught and by god he is good.He ended up doing a back box delete and made all new link pipes etc himself. He even managed to put the valves back in to the new system.It’s now bloody loud.I would recommend Cory and Mr Tyre to anyone. Great set of lads.A++++++++++++++++
