Trisha is passionate about teaching Salsa, she wants her students to be as good as they can be. Emphasis on footwork, body positioning, etcall the essentials for dancing, with structured lessons for beginners which provides the foundation for progression. Very welcoming and friendly with lots of dancing before and after lessons. I would highly recommend Trisha for beginners as well as improves.

I have been lucky enough to be taught by Trisha for sometime now. Her classes are well structured from absolute beginners, which is always a much more individual lesson, into beginners with a clear syllabus which repeats every 8 weeks so can be repeated if required. Once into improvers (level 2 ) the syllabus continues adding to the basics by introducing turn patterns and improving techniques in leading and following. For those that get the bug the lessons are repeated at Wetherby and York so you can practise twice a week. Level 3 or advanced is the goal for those who want to be challenged to lead and follow well. Her socials are monthly and always start with a lesson before getting dancing with not only those in class but all the former Strictlies but those who like to dance with Trish's dancers.

I have been a salsa dancer for about 20 years and can honestly say that Trisha at Strictly Salsa runs for me what are the best classes in York and Wetherby along with some great monthly socials.So folks, if you can count up to 8 and keep to the beat of the music check out Strictly Salsa, I promise that you will love it!

This is the best thing I've done in years. I've been promising to go and learn salsa for such a long time and now I'm regretting not doing it years ago. Trisha is an excellent and passionate coach, the group is of mixed ages with everyone so engaging and the social event is electric. No messing about though, it's full on but the one hour lesson goes far too quickly. If you've thought about doing this but are scared you'll be the one who stands out because you're the 'new kid on the block'... BRUSH THOSE FEARS ASIDE! We were all new once, and we all took that first step... but Trisha is the person to fulfil your dreams of being that ,'Strictly dancer'. Can't wait for next Monday.
