Not the easiest access but doable with good walking shoes. Ensure you check the tide times as it’s only accessible during low tide. Waterproofs required as the cave is quite wet. Only 15/20 mins from the car and maybe 25 mins from the entrance and back.

Quite a great adventure. Stunning views, a rather deep cave and overall worthwhile experience for someone who ain't afraid to get wet. It's better to come at lowtide, but it ain't impossible to enter the cave at high although you will have to scale along the wall which isn't for everyday folk. The cave is deeper than I first expected eventually having you to ascend up a rather steep incline whilst in the cave. Water flows down this incline making it a fun mantle. At the end of our journey we came to a underground pond, we did not dare enter the frigid waters turning back to exit the tunnel. As we exited there lay the ocean rising rapidly an inch per minute. We scale the cliff wall eventually making it to the rugged fallen slate climbing up the lost stream returning to safety.

This is such a unique and great experience to see. It’s a bit of a drive and a large part through single track roads, but it’s worth it when you get there. There are many online blogs describing where to go and once you get through the field, a lot of ferns, and down the cliff you will get to what is essentially the shore. You really need to do this when the tide is out so definitely check the times beforehand. We didn’t manage to get into the actual caves but we loved what we saw. You have to go round two coves to get to the caves and you can’t access it unless the tide is out. Once you get there though it’s worth the effort

It was so amazing. Check the water level because you can just enter the cave at low tight. Then you have plenty of time. We went with water proofed boots because it’s dripping from the sealing and take a good head lamp with a phone light it’s not enough I would say. The rocks are super grippy. The closer you get to the area you have no phone signal so save the spot before on your phone so you can use gps. And park before the gate. Down the road is no space to park. It’s so worth it going I would say my number one of my whole trip.

We planned ahead and got there exactly at the anticipated time for low tide (a low" low tide at 0.4m). The walk to the cave is across a rocky beach and the stones can be slippery so care is needed. The entrance of the cave is VERY wet

Amazing cave ...goes back quite far ....i took flip flops so i could change my hiking boots which im glad i did as definatly getting wet feet on this one .The cave goes in two directions as far as i could tell the cave on the left was the best one to go into as one on right quite deep water . The cave goes up what appears to be a very smo9th steep hill but the rock is very grippy .Keep to the left of the slope and will not be a problem ...once at the top it descends down to a pool at the bottom which was stunning and goes further back if your prepared to swim into the dark ...Defianatly one of my highlights on this island . Make sure to check low tide times before heading in .I revisited this week 1/9/22 and went through the pool at the left cave swam through and amazed to find it goes along and then down another 16ft in height where it encloses to a small crawl space which was too small to continue with .Also went into the cave on the right which closes out after 20 metres ..bit was very muddy and like quick sand so beware !!!!

Great cave! We did this part of the Skye trail - we were 1,5 hours before low tide there and had to get wet until our knees.

Check when the low tide will be as you can not be able to access the Cave. Just a few meters of climb inside and you will find amazing small lake (do not forget head torch!) must to see, bsolutely stunning place, one of the best!
