Adgestone Camping and Caravanning Club Site

Always happy to come back here. It’s such a nice place. The staff are always very helpful and so friendly. We did have problems with a moron in the next tent playing music late and Barbara the site manager sorted it so well and we had no issues after that. The site manager Barbara was fantastic and her staff were as well. Thanks for a lovely stay

Easy check in. Very well organised. Free WiFi. Lovely little swimming pool c. 15m with a depth of 1m

Camped here as part of my coastal path walk around IoW. Arrived late but Mile was very welcoming and a great smiley face after a long days walk in the rain and wind.Site was great , spotlessly clean and great calue for a backpacker

What an amazing site, well maintained, clean and quiet - even in school summer holidays, no noise policy after 11pm is great. Only marked down on toilet/shower facilities as although water is extremely hot and shower powerful, the toilet /shower block is very tired and really needs an update. That said, like the site, it is kept clean. Swimming pool is an added bonus which was loved by our family!

Lovely site clean tidy well looked after .staff very welcoming freindly and helpfull .no shops close by but just stock up well and no motor home service area so bring grey water container . Would recommend to anyone and will be returning again myself

Vast site with easy access to railway and cycle tracks for getting round the island. The toilets and showers are in desperate need of refurbishment, water VERY hot could do thermostatic values to prevent burning. Toilets not changed since our visit 25 years ago WiFi very poor on our pitch kept dropping out. Electric point like an assault course to get two being buried in the hedge. Weather brilliant making up for the above.

First time visiting this campsite ,the staff are friendly the site is big and has big pitches but the site is to big and only has 2 shower and toilet block which are very run down with webs everywhere

Lovely site, grounds well looked after, friendly, helpful staff, plenty of spaces with electric hook-up & water points. Nice heated pool. Shower/toilet blocks cleaned regularly, plenty of sinks for washing up, nice vanity area with mirrors & electric sockets and although there was a coin operated hairdryer it was out of order all the time we were on the site. Family shower rooms, ironing board with coin operated iron. Two coin operated washing machines and driers. Ping-pong table undercover. Kids play area. Nice little fishing lake and stretch of the river Yar. Barrier locked from 11pm to 7am, so if you have an early ferry to catch remember to park outside the barriers the night before. Bus stop a long walk from site, so would suggest bicycles. Nice pub (Yarbridge Inn) just over a mile walking distance from the site, which has a bit of an uphill climb both ways, but book a table in advance as can be very busy. Not ideal for back packers with a small tent as weather wasn't great while we were there & the backpackers tended to take over the vanity area in washrooms to cook food and watch films on their phones as they didn't have a dedicated area for them in adverse weather conditions. Would definitely recommend and return to this site again.

We have just had 10 days at Adgestone and loved every minute of it. The site is beautiful, with hedges and trees, in a rural location, so very quiet. Right next to a great cycle path. The swimming pool is brilliant. The toilets and showers were spotlessly clean, with boiling hot water always available. The family shower rooms were great, as was the laundry. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The playpark could do with a bit of an overhaul but otherwise I can't fault this site.

I have just had a *VERY* enjoyable 2 weeks here. The pool is lovely and clean. The dog walk is brilliant. And the staff are friendly and helpful. 1 in particular, don't know his name, but when you see him around site on his bike and he says alright boss?" You'll know who i mean.Cannot recommend this site enough!"
