Played here a while back, reflecting on my experience, this was not a very warm and welcoming club, I had a very negative and uncomfortable stint at this club which ultimately left me with no option but to leave. So did the other two newcomers that i joined with. We weren’t given a chance, no opportunity to prove ourselves, regularly turned up to training to try to get in the team but we were consistently overlooked. The team were struggling at the time as well, we would lose most games however this did not lead to any changes or trialling new things/giving other people a chance to bowl/bat up the order, it was the same every week, with the same people bowling every week. There were no introductions when we joined, so aside from a few friendly, approachable lads, the main group did not make any effort with us. All in all this was a very unpleasant and awkward experience. You may ask what attempts did you make as newcomers? We got on with the lads who were friendly and approachable, we turned up to training every week, and to games when selected etc. Not playing the race card but it’s hard not to, this was a very negative, uncomfortable and disheartening experience. The team reflected the demographics of Bradford in many ways, segregated and disconnected. The three of us that joined are all from professional backgrounds and were shocked at the sense of ostracism and omission that we felt It was a shame really, because it stopped us from playing the game that we love.

Nice ground, ground well looked after by the officials, some good views, ground was very quiet to say it's surrounded by houses, a good game played by the players of both teams, bit disappointed with the gardens over looking the ground, garden fences seen better days, hope it doesn't put off anybody visiting..

Despite the uncertainty of Covid the committee and members have worked hard to make the club safe to visit.Everyone is very friendly, drinks very reasonable and club house well presented. lovely outdoor space to sit and watch weekend cricket. Definitely worth a visit

Maybe in the middle of a load of houses but this place has character. The lads and staff there are brilliant and friendly.
