Cannot recommend highly enough. Customer service was the best we have ever experienced. Outstanding. David was wonderful went far and beyond with advice and care of my father's 90 year old kilt and kitting my son out with everything else he needed. I do not normally write reviews but this was so outstanding I wanted to let everyone know how special they make customers feel. Nothing is too much trouble.

Fantastic experience getting a kilt for a weekend wedding. Always had a problem at other places getting measured well enough for the outfit to pass all the 'challenges' a whole day covers at a wedding.On my initial visit I explained this to the young female staff member who advised on the selection after indicating what style and colour I wanted. She told me exactly what size she was going to recommend and why and how some of the buckles would give me leeway to go tighter or looser.Kilt passed day and night with flying colours and with pick up and drop off being very quick with the excellent and informed staff it's a place I'll be returning to for my next hire.

Excellent customer Service!!we travelled from England to get fitted for a wedding and they had us measured and dressed in perfect timethey have a great range of Tartans and it’s good quality we can’t wait to get our attire

They fit us in last minute and the measuring was a quick process. A few finer details of the hire were not perfect, like the sporran was lopsided, and gillies missing a tassle. However, they helped out last minute and the hire was smooth. They also gave us an extra day to return the kilts as they didn't have any further hire after us. Overall good but could do with a little refinement.

Rented a Kilt for a wedding. They went out of their way to make sure I rented the right style/color and spent a good amount of time walking me through how to wear the outfit. The shoes alone would have had me spending hours to figure out.The wedding was great, and I was told my Kilt was the best looking by far! Thanks Mccalls!

An easy 5 star rating for McCalls. I attended a weeding in Ireland a couple weeks ago, the kilt and accessories hired were all fantastic, showered in complements all night which was great!I believe it was Anna who measured my size and helped decide on what to choose. She knew exactly what she was doing, was super funny and made the whole experience absolutely fantastic.Pick-up and drop-off were as easy as can be. The kilt was in great shape when I picked it up and the packing was done incredibly neatly.I have used various kilt hire establishments around Edinburgh over the last few years but I will only be going to McCalls from now on.Fantastic work from the team, (Anna & a gentleman with the most majestic moustache I have ever seen)Thanks to you both so much, from a very grateful customerAlex

We arrived without an appointment, but were seen to immediately. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, and within 40-minutes we had the Groom sized, all other sizes submitted and 6 kilts ordered on hire for our wedding in November! They even gave us a military discount. Honestly couldn’t recommend them more.

Had a kilt but needed everything else. I highly recommend McCalls. Was assisted in everything I needed by Anna who was excellent. Got what I needed at a great price.Many thanks Anna and the team
