Freedom Homes were excellent at guiding us through the processes we had to undertake, and delivering brilliant drawings. The video call with Josh really helped us to understand our whole development a lot better, while Natalia and Mackenzie helped us understand some of the intricacies of delivering notices to neighbours and getting the planning sorted. Freedom Homes has been great to work with. We initially spoke with Philip and Kamila who promptly sent us the drawings after a few zoom calls to understand what we wanted, and changed anything we asked them to until we had the perfect result. Mackenzie then applied for planning permission from the council on our behalf. This was so helpful as we had never done anything like this before and she kept us updated regularly as well as answered any questions we had along the way. We would definitely use Freedom Homes again!

I found Freedom Home to be very client focused. They were very responsive to my requirements and flexible enough to respond to changes as the design concept developed. We had very clear objectives for our extension/refurbishment to increase overall space, increase natural light, addition of more bedrooms, and improve overall energy efficiency. We were keen to have a design that could achieve an energy efficiency as close as possible to Passivhaus standards.Freedom Homes produced an initial design very quickly and reflected on our feedback to make necessary changes. The support provided was end-to-end from initial design through planning approval to building control (excluding contract/construction management/supervision). Support was also provided for drainage surveys and final drainage layouts, party wall notifications, and structural designs.Our project is currently due to be built next year.I would strongly recommend Freedom Homes if you are looking for an architect to turn your ideas into a project, design your project and support you through out the process to the start of construction.

It has been a pleasant experience interacting with the Freedom Homes team , Mr Cameron Spencer and Mr. Berkay who dealt with my case. I signed up for Freedom’s Gold service. I am delighted with the service and support I have received in getting my proposed wraparound extension approved. Joshua was always very timely and responsive to my design requests and gave me sound advice on what and how the planning application should be presented. Before appointing Freedom, I had consulted other architects, who hummed & hahed as to whether the council would approve my plans. Freedom’s planning application was approved in full. The next stages are Party Wall Agreements, structural calculations and plans, Building Regs plans. I will update this review after those stages. Thus far I am very happy with the services from Freedom Architects. My advice to anyone who reads this review: allow plenty of extra time for the council approvals. The planning department clearly has significant staffing and budget challenges, which is no different from other local authority services.

We instructed Freedom Homes Architects to draw up designs for a wrap around extension on a newly purchased ground floor flat.
