Loads of guards in the day, crawling all over the place to catch kids without tickets. Although on a Friday and Saturday night you have one guard quivering and trains full of drunks who try to start fights for no reason.

Should be called Miseryrail!!! My daughter took a trip to Liverpool, but found out late that night that all trains back to her home destination had been cancelled and had to get an alternative, longer journey train. Unfortunately herself and her boyfriend both received £60 fines for having their feet resting against the opposite seats. The carriages were empty, no inconvenience to other rail users. I know this is wrong, but surely a first warning should have been given?So, Miseryrail, YOU inconvenienced my daughter and her boyfriend, but instead of compensating them, you unnecessarily robbed them of £120 - shameful!
