Mortal Man Hotel
Had Sunday lunch. 3 meals of traditional Sunday roast ( beef, chicken, and bacon chop ) and the usual menu in addition. Nice service. Lovely spot with nice garden sitting area for a drink in decent weather.

Mortal Man Hotel
The location is absolutely great with plenty of walking trails near by and a short drive from Windermere. The room was lovely and clean but the beds were very uncomfortable. We had two beds pushed together and they sank in the middle which left me waking up with a bad back. The restaurant was very busy but our food came out in a reasonable time and was absolutely lovely. Would return but the beds were just a little disappointing.

A truly amazing break. We got an amazing deal, the room was lovely, the staff were so good. Pretty central to Windermere, Ambleside and Keswick. Will be coming back next year.

Mortal Man Hotel
The Mortal Man Hotel was within walking distance from the cottage I was renting for two weeks and has amazing views of the Troutbeck Fells. A large beer garden and walking trails lead from here, all walking levels. Free WiFi, food and rooms to rent. Dog and walker friendly. Had a cooked meal here when I first arrived and it was nice but slightly over priced but we are in the Lake District and most pub food is slightly overpriced as far as I can tell. Have visited a couple of times in the evening for a drink and some fresh air and also to enjoy the amazing views.

A lovely period bar with an extensive garden giving lovely views of the adjoining valley. A tasty real ale served by friendly staff, coupled with a smashing lunch, gave us much satisfaction.

Popped in for a drink. Great choice of beers. Left my bag in the pub and one of the staff rang down the footpath to return it before I had even realised! Couldn't ask for better service. Thank you.

Mortal Man Hotel
A little inderstaffed when we arrived Sunday but so apologetic and very attentive. Food was literally amazing (esp sweet potato soup) the only thing I would say is the pub is looking a bit tired in decor but honestly had a fantastic meal

Fantastic stay at the Mortal Man Inn! Lovely staff, amazing food, panoramic views, comfy bed, stylish rooms and loads of character. Highly recommend. Will be going back!
