Howson Care Centre

David passed away, yesterday, 24th July 2021, at 9pm, having suffered Alzheimer's for about 18 years. How lucky for myself and David that we found Howson's. His care has been second to none. The staff are brilliant, kind, caring and Conscientious. For the past three days, when we all knew he was going, they never left him alone for a second, one of the staff sitting beside his bed, holding his hand to comfort him.A particular thanks to Denise, Shelby, Aynsley, Steph and Steve who cared for David over the past few days. I think they have shed as many tears as me!My partner David has been at Howson's for almost four years and is now in the last stages of dementia and is only 74. He had been in three homes prior to Howsons, the first very near to home and was admitted there in 2011. When this home couldn't manage him - in their words meet his needs"

As a local businessman, I can't speak highly enough of the staff that work at Howson Care Centre especially Emma and Keely. They are always so kind, caring, and attentive. It's clear to see that they want to enrich the lives of those they support. Nothing ever seems too much for them. It is lovely to see the smiles on the face of those in their care. I would not hesitate to recommend Howson Care Centre.

I have recently started working at Howson Care Centre, and upon first impressions I was amazed at the quality of the care provided to each and every resident, providing them all with such brilliant person-centred care. The management staff are supportive of all people within the home, including staff and residents, in order to provide a high level of care not seen elsewhere. Some days are challenging but this doesn’t reduce the quality of care. Staff are well trained and I have felt especially supported to feel confident in my job role, helping and caring for residents and feeling instantly accepted as part of a team. All the staff are genuinely kind and thoughtful people, always thinking of new ideas for activities and new ways to enhance person centred care. I feel proud to be a part of the team.

I am a recent employee at howosn care centre and i was there for 5 years. During my time at howosn the staff there are just amazing they are so supportive with each other and give the best care, the management are amazing, I have worked in alot of care homes and the management at howson are above and beyond, I had some family issues that I needed to deal with and the management let me have quite some time off with my position still open when I return. Anytime I or any other staff need support the management are always there to help and support. By far the best care home I have ever worked in and it will always hold a special place in my heart ❤ thank you howson for everything ❤

I’ve worked closely with Howson care centre for the past 11 months. Visiting site every 4 weeks. The home is always extremely clean, smells great & staff are always so welcoming. Working in the care industry and visiting multiple care homes on a daily basis, I can truly say that Howson care centre is up there as one of the best and let’s not forget the beautiful grounds site is located on!

Bad attitude problem

An amazing team of people to work with and alongside, putting not only the residents needs at the heart of everything but also the staffs. No two days are the same, I feel I am constantly learning new things every day. I couldn't recommend this company more if I tried to work for xx
