Can’t recommend Lewis and the team at Taylored enough. No requests were a problem, really good at answering the phone and the end product (we went for their drifter conversion in ply) was superior to other converters we had considered. We’re delighted with our T6 conversion!

We have been looking for a camper conversion company for a while, we looked at many companies locally across Devon, and everywhere we went we found the quality just wasn't there. Either poor quality finish, rusty vans, or high mileage. We then stumbled across Taylored. No fancy advertising to gain business, just good old-fashioned word of mouth and honest hard-working people at the core of this business. We were impressed by Lewis and the team with their workmanship on vans they were converting, and impressed by the honesty and price structures. We booked in, waited patiently, and even managed to get in a couple of weeks early.It is fair to say the results are absolutely outstanding, and sure other companies are not as busy (not a good sign if you ask me) and at face value look a similar price, this is a long term investment, that will make memories for my family for many, many years to come.Let us be honest if I was to invest this sort of money again, I would be straight round to Lewis and the team without hesitation, because they do an amazing job, happy to tackle your weird and wonderful requests, and if we are completely truthful they want to make sure you drive away happy and prepared to recommend them.Good old-fashioned customer service!Thank you, Lewis, and the team

Amazing service and brilliant conversion, I get comments constantly on my vw conversion and also had a storage unit designed and installed for a business van which works really well for the efficient storage on the business van. Having spoken to a few conversion companies, I feel very lucky to have come across Taylored Campervan Conversions at a campervan show in Exeter. Right from the start, Lewis made a great impression. There was no pushy salesman talk that you can see right through, just a honest and genuine chap. This continued throughout from sourcing the van to the conversion. Even though they must be so busy as everyone wants campervans since COVID, the customer service was second to none. The team have done an amazing job on the conversion and I feel like they really went the extra mile when we were trying to match the upholstery with a previous conversion of theirs. The map on the roof is something I had seen elsewhere and was delighted when they said they could do that for us too. As Lewis couldn’t be there when we collected on a Friday, I was very impressed to receive a message from him on Saturday to check all had gone ok. First class service from a first class company! We came across Taylored through a word of mouth recommendation and even though they were based 4 hours away from us, looking through the options and previous builds on their website and from our initial chats with Lewis, we felt it was worth the distance. Lewis and his team made us feel like we were the only customers he was dealing with, he was happy to chat through options anytime, nothing was too much trouble. As others have said, he isn’t a pushy salesman, he knows his stuff and is happy to give his honest opinions on options (which roof, which seats etc) which comes from his experience - he knows what works and doesn’t work. Becky in the office did a sterling job as well fielding our many questions and keeping us updated.Their eco efforts stood out, the thought they had put into sourcing sustainable materials, reducing plastic and planting trees impressed us- we didn’t come across any other converters who cared about the materials they were using more than their margins.The end result is incredible, so impressed with the quality of the workmanship and the attention to detail, and evident on arriving at the workshop to pick up the van that Lewis’ team took great pride in their work- a quality handover and they dealt with a last minute addition to the spec with such a positive attitude. Lewis was on holiday at the time and I remember thinking Lewis should be so proud of all they have achieved- even in his absence, the place was running like clockwork and delivering a quality result. The upholstery completed by their local contact also looks amazing. Such a lovely team and amazing conversions, we get a lot of compliments and admiring glances wherever we go!
