Animaid Cafe

It is a nice place to chill and admire, especially as an anime fan. Popped in yesterday and was served by a lovely pink maid. The tea was refreshing, and the vibes were good.If I had to nitpick is that I think fans would be a good investment during the summer heat, and maybe having simple meals/snacks would be nice.They also played jojo Part 3. What more could you ask for?Edit: as of Aug 2023. It still is here, bit pricier, but service is just as decent.

Found completely by accident scouring the depressing grimdark streets of Manchester and falling into some maze like building which confounded the senses and boggled the mind.Decided on ordering some waffles and a Naruto" drink. Informed unfortunately there were no sauces. But no big deal. Things happen.The wait time was a little bit high. However the two ladies were absolutely lovely and very polite even during the card machine having a hiccup and deciding that working was optional. And it was understandable when groups of people were entering to also purchase other items

I found the cafe all well and good. A fine place, nice tea, and a lot more respectable than I expected...But most importantly, their stall at MegaCon had an Umaru mystery bag!!! Umaru!!!!! (I am a fan of Umaru)

lovely customer service!!!! the maids are honestly the sweetest (especially kira and her cosplays!!) and they gave me and my friend a free waffle as compensation for his drink taking a long time to be made. the drinks and food themselves are delicious and i always make sure to get something new every time i visit, and i have never been disappointed. would recommend the cafe to anyone who is a fan of anime or just wants a delicious bubble tea!! <3
