I recently entrusted Gavin with my beautiful Davenport desk for some much needed TLC and minor repairs. This was originally my mum's - so very sentimental value.When Gavin first saw it he was obviously interested in restoring it and was very enthusiastic about it. We agreed a price and time scale and he took it away that day. It came home on Thursday and looks beautiful. It now has a rich walnut finish with all the little repairs done to a high standard. We are so pleased with the end result. It has been restored to its former glory.Gavin was very professional throughout. He is very friendly and a really nice man and clearly knows what he is doing and provides a very good value service.We have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

Gavin restored three pieces of furniture for us and the quality of his work is outstanding. He sympathetically repaired split veneers and worn draw runners, replaced missing decorative sections and found keys to fit the locks and much more. The furniture came back beautifully polished but with the patina preserved. We are very happy with the work he did for us and would highly recommend him.
