I contacted Sam in January for a quote to plaster our lounge ceiling after seeing his excellent reviews on a local Facebook group. He responded straight away, came out and assessed our situation. The job was delayed due to our roof replacement being weather dependant but when I re-contacted in May he instantly prioritised us honouring the fact that we’d first spoken in January. His quote was reasonable and for the two days he was working in our house he was efficient and clean with an excellent work ethic and great communication. The ceiling looks fantastic and we couldn’t be more pleased. Highly recommended. Thanks so much Sam!

Sam plastered my whole lounge including the ceiling and made a brilliant job of it. The finish on the walls is top class and he is very meticulous in getting everything spot on for you. Very tidy worker and even offered to help me move my furniture back into the room after. Great job.

I'd love to just say his work speaks for itself and leave it at that, but Sam did much more than just an excellent job. Having trades in the house for a while can be tiring, but Sam and Connor were brilliant. Quiet, respectful, on time, clean and tidy and they turned a mess of a wall (wet, crumbling, wonky, Victorian) into a near perfect finish with minimal disruption. Sam was responsive when we were first talking, patient about arranging dates, was on time every day and gave genuine care about his work - no shortcuts. It all adds up and it shows in the finish. No hesitation to have them back for the next room on the list.

Absolutely amazing service from Sam at SSW Plastering. Renovation of entire 1970s bungalow including ripping out of fibreboard, replacing with plasterboard, prep work and plastering throughout - not a small job! Sam was always on time, offering advice and making recommendations throughout. We couldn’t have done this project without him and we are so thankful he helped make our dream house take shape. Don’t contact any other plasterer until you’ve tried SSW Plastering, cannot recommend enough!

Sam did an amazing job for me, hacking what seemed like laters and layers of old wall back and replastering the wall after a roof leak. He kept me informed throughout and even worked a bank holiday at no extra charge to get the job done on time. He was friendly and professional and the final finish was done to an excellent standard. Sam gave us a quote to re-plaster our bathroom ceiling after part of it started to fall away. He gave us a quote promptly and was able to start the work quickly. Sam was on time and left the place incredibly tidy - quite a challenge given the amount of dust and dirt our ceiling produced. I first contacted Sam in April about thermal boarding and plastering my attic room. He responded straight away and gave me a very reasonable quote and he finished the job last Monday. He did an excellent job and was clean, tidy and considerate and kept me well informed of progress and issues. He completed the job on time and on budget, allowing for an extra day and extra materials for some additional work not originally quoted for. Apprentice Connor was also very polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend them.
