Excellent food. Great atmosphere and easy to find. Speedboat bar has a unique take on Thai food. If you like authentic Thai cuisine then speedboat may not be the best place but if you don’t mind a twist on Thai food then you must try speedboat bar! The have pool tables and a bar upstairs. Yes it is a little cramped inside but it’s all worth it for the food! I had the Tom Yum soup which was good but the best was the purple aubergine starters that blew our minds! The morning glory was good too so was the drunken noodles. Recommend this place. Just one thing is the service can be a little haphazardly but that’s ok. It’s a new spot and they will only get better and better. Thank you!

The food was insane!We’d been to Winter Wonderland in the afternoon and filled up on food from there so wanted something small to have for dinner. We went to Speedboat and ordered a rice and mackerel curry to share. They ended up not having any mackerel and offered sea bream as a replacement. The curry was the best we’ve ever tasted. We felt so full and warm inside after eating this!!! Will definitely be coming back, thank you so much!!!Also there were a couple of dietary requirements on tables nearby us and they had separate menus where they’d crossed off foods that they could not eat which was brilliant. Love this place, have been here for drinks and the pool table in the past, just can’t get enough. The music and atmosphere is great and is well priced considering the location. Thank you thank you!

What a gaff… loved it. The food is absolutely delicious, albeit spicy! If you can’t hack spicy food I can’t imagine this is for you as almost every dish is hot, especially the prawn ceviche. Buzzy bar, friendly staff and overall vibe is great. It does add up however going with a group where you can share and try most things is ideal. The Tom Yam noodle soup comes in at £29, however it is very large and all 4 had a bowl. So don’t fret… enjoy!

A really cool themed Thai restaurant!! The inside of the restaurant was decorated in a very interesting way, it gave the place a great atmosphere and a relaxing feeling. The service was good nothing to complain about.We loved the cool names and dishes on both the drinks and food menu. The only thing I would definitely say to watch out for is the spicy warnings on the menu, they are incredibly hot and not for the faint hearted.

This is a popular place. We arrived before 5:30pm and there were already people waiting, make sure to book a table ahead. we find the food is flavorful, tasty for us. The downside is it's a bit pricey and the food came in small portion, probably 1/2 of the size of normal dishes each. Few pieces of seafood inside the TomYam hotpot. The tarot ice cream melted our soul. Can’t forget about it. Services are good. It’s a good place for people who like spicy and flavorful food. But they sure can do better to put reasonable portions.

Cellophane noodles with chicken could have had more chicken. Also a bit too spicy for my taste.Morning glory" vegetables were good but too small for the price. £9

Top notch! The food was full of flavour and authentic. The Tom yum was a massive portion, easily shareable and full of seafood and pork.They say to order some share plates and between three of us we got 6 + rice and we’re pleasantly full.

This is my second visit to Speedboat bar. The experience was as consistent, great atmosphere, a booking in advance is a must.Overall the food is great but not my favourite Thai in London. We ordered too many dishes for two, but ordered the following:- Sweetcorn Fritters (a must)- Minced Beef with Holy Basil- Crispy Pork Curry- Rice- Tom Yam Mama Noodles (this was great)I’d be happy to visit knowing I’m getting great food in a lovely bar. Probably wouldn’t be top of my list to return with all the other choices available in London.

Fantastic food and drinks. Not the cheapest, but you pay for what you get. Great vibe on a Saturday night in Soho. The Thai Margherita was spicy and tasty, the service amazing and the food blew my socks off. I have not had this combination and intensity of flavours and colours - possibly ever. Despite the price tag I will definitely go back there.

This place is absolutely phenomenal. Went today for my birthday lunch. The staff are all very welcoming, great atmosphere, and the food was all insanely good.We started with the cluckin’ good crispy chicken skins, then the ‘blow your head off’ prawn ceviche.Then a salad - Cashew Nut, Pork Crackling & Dried Prawn, again superb!Crispy pork and black pepper curry - a lusciously rich Penang style curry.Finally the Tom Yam Noodles, Squid, Pork & Prawns. The showcase dish on the menu - Yum!The Spicy Margarita cocktail was a great way to set it all up!Thank you Speedboat Bar! We will be back.Tom Yam Noodles, Squid, Pork & Prawns
