My daughter Charlotte booked a colour analysis with Sarah and I came along with her not knowing anything about style and colour analysis. It was the most amazing experience. Sarah is so welcoming and the colour analysis is one of the few things in life that is all about you. It felt like being the most important person on earth as Sarah did a detailed analysis of colours which included make up, jewellery and of course, clothing colours. I enjoyed the morning so much that I came back for my own colour analysis. It was like being in a spa that was organised just for us.We then booked a whole day to both have a style analysis done. I can honestly say that this has been life changing. I have been able to understand why my wardrobe full of often unworn and unloved clothing exists and to be able to take action to change it. No more spending ages trying things on that don’t suit/fit me. Now I can shop with confidence. Everything I buy I love and I feel great wearing. This has extended to make-up, glasses, jewellery, nail varnish, hair and accessories. Getting dressed up to go out now is a much different experience than before and I feel so much happier in myself.I only wish I had known about Sarah years ago. I would recommend House of Colour and especially Sarah to anyone. Colour and style analysis would be an amazing gift to give to someone you care about. It is not just the experience of the day that you spend with Sarah but something that continues on with you giving you confidence and joy.

I have always been very curious about the colours that suit me and I was lucky to be gifted some vouchers for a 1:1 colour analysis as part of my Christmas and birthday presents which I had heavily hinted on following meeting Sarah at a networking event. She wears her colours beautifully and was instantly drawn to her warm personality and her style sense!My colour analysis session was incredible from the moment I entered Sarah's beautiful and serene studio to the moment I left. Unfortunately, I'd had some bad news that I have received that morning but decide to go along anyway and Sarah made me feel very comfortable and it was just the pamper I needed. The whole process of testing colour swatches against my skin tone was fascinating and we even went through make up colours, tips and tricks. I had lots of questions and Sarah was very generous with her knowledge and following up afterwards with useful links and information. I am so glad to have had my colour session and would recommend it to anyone and Sarah is just the perfect person to take you through it! Thank you!

I had a Colour and Style Analysis full day session with Sarah this weekend. It was such an enjoyable experience and worth the investment - I am sure it will save me so much time, money and stress in the long run now that I know the shapes, styles and colours of clothes that will suit me, and how to put them together to make outfits for a variety of occasions.From the first email communication, Sarah was lovely, warm and felt like a friend. She is just as great in person, a fantastic listener and so knowledgeable about colour and style theory. Sarah’s studio is also very calming - lovely decor and a great place to spend the day. Sarah was on hand with drinks and snacks all day - a great touch!Sarah’s attention to detail was brilliant. Throughout the day, she was able to answer my many additional questions, and also followed up with comprehensive notes via email afterwards of what we covered in the session and additional pointers such as suitable brands and inspiration boards.What was a long day went really quickly and we covered a lot of ground - it was so enjoyable I could have kept chatting to Sarah for another few hours!I particularly appreciated Sarah’s awareness of sustainability and how she applied a more conscious approach to style and shopping - something that is quite difficult to do when surrounded by trends, marketing and the fashion industry in general.For those coming from further afield (e.g. London), Sarah recommended suitable taxis and it was an easy 10-minute ride from Hitchin train station. I’d highly recommend travelling the extra distance to go and see Sarah for those who may be London-based or beyond.For anyone considering colour and/or personal style analysis, I would highly recommend a visit to Sarah. The experience was so worthwhile, and exceeded my expectations, and felt more personal, thorough and accurate to other services I researched and initially considered that were online-only. Sarah really went above and beyond to make this a special, memorable experience, with lessons in dressing and style that I hope will stay with me for the rest of my life!Thank you Sarah for a fantastic day!

What a wonderful experience having my colours done as a birthday treat with Sarah. Sarah made you feel very comfortable and the process was very enlightening. I found it very interesting how the correct colours really make you feel. Since my visit I did a small clothes shop and found I picked up some items that I wouldn't have chosen before but they look fab. I will be booking a style consultation next.

A life-enriching experience!The colour and style analysis day with Sarah was so enjoyable, from start to finish.Arriving with some trepidation, I was immediately put at my ease and was able to relax into the consultation and enjoy the exploration, revelation and learning - it was a full day!Sarah had prepared and catered for my every need, and it was an absolute joy to spend the day with her in her lovely studio.Almost four weeks have passed since that day of discovery. They have been filled with wardrobe assessment and arrangements, putting together outfits and trying them on in different ways, comparing notes with interested family and friends, browsing shops in the street and online, dyeing and altering, and yes, buying new clothes.I am now choosing with confidence, and from a smaller selection of items can assemble an outfit I feel good in, and believe I actually look good in too!Sarah read" me in the space of a few hours and taught me how to bring the true me to the surface. I never imagined that my previous inattention to the way I dress could have been suppressing a put-together and elegant me!"

I had the most marvellous time working with Sarah on my Style Analysis (wardrobe therapy!). It was an enjoyable and insightful experience which I raved to my friends about afterwards! As an added bonus, after spending the previous 32 years of my life thinking I had short legs, it turns out I have long ones!

I had the pleasure of spending the morning with Sarah for my Colour Analysis. In her beautiful garden studio my eyes were opened to a whole new world of colour. Being someone that predominately wears black, I would never have thought that I would actually agree that some colours looked amazing against my skin tone. But there I was sitting in the chair draped in a spectrum of summer colours thinking to myself ‘why have I never done this before?!’ Sarah is one of the most welcoming people I’ve ever met and makes you feel at ease every moment.Absolutely cannot wait for my next appointment!

I had an amazing time getting my colour analysis done with Sarah. It can be uncomfortable to look at yourself in the mirror without makeup on, and to analyse every aspect of your face but she created a lovely and reassuring atmosphere which helped make me feel at ease during the whole process. I particularly appreciated Sarah’s attention to detail and her vast knowledge on the theory behind colour analysis. I came home feeling more confident about myself and the material I was able to take with me will make it easy to find clothes and makeup going forward. Last but not least, Her studio is a lovely space, well stocked with drinks and snacks (the freshly baked pastry was a particularly nice touch!).
