Joined barefoot for a kayak tour in February. It was an incredibly picturesque day and the instructors were very prompt and knowledgable. Will definitely book again.

We were told to call on the morning of our visit to make sure they were open for business, which we did 3 times with no answer. We looked at the weather and were satisfied that it would be calm seas so drove from Leeds. On arrival we were pointed in the direction of a house to confirm our arrival. It took 10 minutes to answer the door to be told they couldn't be bothered to open and left us with no activities. If you have customers that are happy to pay for your services, you should respect that. My advice is to use someone else that respects customers.

Been with Barefoot Kayak twice. Their Esk tour was really enjoyable, it was fantastic to see the Esk from a different perspective. The Explore course was very informative, well delivered in a knowledgeable and engaging way and greatly improved our kayaking skills . Both trips were excellent, well organised and very welcoming. Thanks Ben and Andy, we'll be back!

An amazing experience, Andrea was always willing to help, kayaking and paddle boarding for the first time was great, especially since she gave us the best recommendations! We will definitely go back!

Hired a kayak at the beach today, really friendly folks. I've been kayaking before but they ensured all safety aspects were covered before letting you set off. Will definitely be back to hire from again.
