Thank goodness a friend recommended Thorsten at The Helper’s Hands. I had been suffering with a very stiff and painful shoulder for over 18 months. I had seen a physio but no improvement. With just 4 sessions of Bowen Therapy and sports massage my shoulder is almost back to normal, I am doing exercises given to me by Thorsten which are also really helping. I have started swimming again and feeling so positive about my recovery. Thorsten is very knowledgeable and professional and I am now recommending him to everybody I know.

After years of sitting at a desk, weight training and high impact sports, i would often suffer with sciatica and tension in my upper back/shoulders but after meeting Thorsten and Edit, this is a thing of the past.Thorsten calmly and gently re-aligned my pelvis and rebalanced my whole body in two sessions of Bowen Therapy which I had previously never heard of. I couldn't believe the result!Although I no longer suffer from sciatica thanks to Thorsten, I visit The Helpers' Hands a couple of times a month to maintain good postural alignment through the Bowen treatments, to have the occasional sports massage which is very effective at relieving tightness and tension, and to have a very relaxing Indian head massage with Edit.I have just tried their Halotherapy/salt room which was a nice, grounding experience and extremely effective at clearing up a head cold.Many of my friends and family have also been treated by Thorsten and Edit all of which can not believe the effectiveness and speed at which they feel the results especially when they have been in such pain for so long.I can't recommend them both enough!

Highly recommend the Helpers' Hands and the treatments they offer! I have been searching for years for the right treatment to address my neck/shoulder tension and migraines and have finally found it! I had never heard of Bowen Therapy until 6 months ago but decided to give it a try. Thorsten is truely fantastic at what he does and the results speak for themselves. Along with his wife Edit providing excellent Indian head and hot stone massage it really is a wonderful local business!

First off, Thorsten is a great guy - passionate, genuine & extremely knowledgeable, his combination of Bowen therapy & deep tissue sports massage helped completely realign my shoulders & pelvis, ease my neck pain & relieve the ridiculous amount of tension I'd been carrying for years!Plenty of advice & sources of information from Thorsten too - an all-round great service at a fair price, would recommend to anyone!

Absolutely great, no pressure from Thorsten or his wife Edit. Everything is explained and no treatment if Thorsten thinks it won't be beneficial.. My wife sees Thorsten once a month now after treatment on her Knee, the specialist at southmead hospital could not believe how better her knee is.. It has saved her having surgery and going once a month keeps it ticking over nicely and away from the hospital..I myself have treatment once a month for my back muscles which go into spasm and is extremely painful, nhs couldn't do anything so saw Thorsten and wow! what a difference! . Bowen treatment once a month is all i need and i can continue as normal..A nicer, friendly, genuine, honest couple you could not wish to meet that provide a brilliant service, cannot recommend highly enough..They have our thanks and more..

5 Stars. Helpers hands are amazing. After suffering from capol tunnel for 2 years after having my daughter, whilst being a hairdresser and a mum I was left suffering sleepless nights waking up in pain. I had at least 5 steroid injections over this time. Which temporarily fixed this issue only for it to return.Thorsten and his lovely wife Edit have given me my life back. After only 3 sessions I have been fixed no pain no problem. I cant thank them enough. I highly recommend them. I have also known a few other people who have gone there since and also had there problems fixed quickly.They are very professional and I can’t thank them enough

I suffered with back pain for around 14 years and after no improvements with physio/chiropractor/osteopath I discovered The Helpers’ Hands. He identified the problem within minutes and then did treatment resulting in immediate relief after 1 session. Friendly and professional service. Highly recommend!
