Best hockey rink good views and not expensive. And fun for the kids

An exhilarating spectacle full of twists and turns, cheers and boos! Wonderful to watch such skilled players in a local environment. Fun for all the family. We’ll definitely be back; would highly recommend!

Great way to watch a good level of ice hockey in or around London (they've now moved back to Romford) for a reasonable price. Thoroughly entertaining experience with lights, music and an MC to give the whole thing a professional feel. There are usually games every week either on a Saturday or Sunday at 5:30pm. It's very popular now that the Raiders are back in Romford so although the new rink at Sapphire Ice & Leisure has plenty more seats than previously at Lee Valley, it's still advisable to arrive a bit early to get a good seat. However, most seats in the new arena give a good viewpoint above the ice level and the glass is now high all around with a mesh above so spectators don't have to be quite so alert to flying pucks any more. The Liberty Centre car park is just across the road and is free on Sundays, when most home games seem to take place. All round it's an exciting spectacle and enjoyable for everyone especially families with young children or groups of friends.

A great value entertaining night out right on our doorstep with an excellent atmosphere. Modern facility and family friendly. My 7 year old was made up to win the 'chuck a puck' challenge prize as well on his first attempt. People of Romford and Havering get to the Sapphire and support the Raiders, they deserve to succeed. Good luck to the boys in the play offs!

Fantastic facility in Romford, a great place to skate and to watch the Raiders Ice Hockey team in action in the National League. Highly recommend you give it a try, you will be hooked in no time.

Hockey's alright but the staff aren't. They snatch sweets of off 4 year old kids.

Ice been taking lessons here now for about 2 months. Our teach harriot is super friendly and so encouraging. I thought I was too old to start but she has made me see that age is just a number.The public skate is also good fun with everyone being really friendly and approachable. Everyone is there having a good time.

A great place to watch ice hockey. Had to mark low as you're unable to take food and drink in, and bags are searched for them. Being on a strict diet due to intolerances I find this very awkward as I need medication and food at certain times of day. I can't eat any food there due to my intolerances so for the next few days I have to suffer.

Don’t recommend for parents to join the membership. Today was at the swimming pool around 6 PM and were not allowed in due to the swimming lessons we ask at the ginger lady when we can come in with the baby and told us at 8 o’clock so we come and still, we weren’t allowed. We asked for a manager one came in named Zak young boy with no experience in managing customer services we were getting the wrong information and we just got 2 new membership. In conclusion, I cannot lie to my son about staff giving the wrong information. As a parent disappointed
