Cheap and cheerful meal, much better than all the fast food in the area. I has the chicken & lamb over rice. Chicken was tasty and the rice had that Afgan pilau flavour.However, the lamb was more like frozen lamb burger patties cut up, rather than actual lamb meat off the bone but paid £7 so expected. The green chutney also has the sour, zesty Afgan taste.Overall, not somewhere I'd eat from everyday but still a tasty, homemade meal.

Absolute top tier Afghani food. Big Flavours meat marinated properly and great services from the chefs. We got the lamb and chicken mixed platter!! Hit them up seriously.

First, I saw this street vendor selling halal food, and I decided to try several different foods.I tried the chicken and rice, and it was 10/10 highly recommended. The flavour of the chicken was so tasty, and the sauces they put on top compliments the food.Then I tried the chicken gyro, and it was a disaster. All the liquid soaked into the bread, and it wasn't pleasant having if highly not recommend this.They didn't have any falafel even though it shows on the menu, and I was informed they no longer do It as it's time-consuming to make.Also, they no longer give NHS discounts.They accept card payments.

Loved the generous proportions offered in relation to the price. Tasted great and would definitely recommend.

Big fan of chicken over rice in general and was looking for a place that serves food like that in east. Was pleasantly surprised to find this place right outside Whitechapel station. Super easy to get toThe food was quick, fresh and affordable. Super filling and kept me going for the day. Definitely a good balance of flavour and if you like extra spicy, you can always get more of the chilli sauce. The white sauce is to die forThe meats are really well cooked as well and will definitely go back for more soon!

Really good! Better than Halal Guys.Okay, so when Halal guys came over to the UK, I was seriously disappointed. I am 100% sure it's better from the original food cart in New York. I heard about Shah's because my older brother was raving about it, saying that it was better than Halal Guys in the UK. I'm sure anything is better than Halal Guys.So I came across the cart whilst walking through Whitechapel market on my way to the library. And it's seriously good.Fast service and tasty tender meat. I got the combo over rice with all the sauces. The green chutney sauce takes the cake. The two guy's making it and serving were very friendly.For £7 with drink, it's a very good deal for fresh tasty food. I'd recommend going for only chicken if you want a healthier option as I believe the meat is just kebab pieces, which is high in fat. I'd probably go for that next time as I'm watching my weight.
