There's not a lot there other that the guided tour which lasts about 90 minutes. There's a small museum 2 small rooms and a small gift shop. The coffee shop is really nice and serves a decent coffee or tea. Shame about the view though. If you want to see the planes flying your better off going to a show.

Fabulous. You only go in one hanger but you see Mosquitoes, Spitfires & the fantastic Lancaster. Very friendly & helpful. The guides are volunteers & ours was ex RAF & he was very knowledgeable loved it.

Great informative tour of the aircraft, focusing mainly on individual aircraft history etc. Cafe and museum shop open to the public.Only issue with the tours is there are no microphones/speakers for the guides, so very hard to hear what is being said within the loud hangar and over the top of big groups etc. Father with hearing aids struggled to hear what was being said.

Excellent guides really knowledgeable and very approachable and friendly. A well organised event with good car parking. Our lovely lady guide even took photographs for us in areas we could not enter. Would recommend it to anyone who is interested in WW2 aircraft. There is a small museum as well which has lots of great information and photographs. Also a small cafe plus toilets.

Visited on the members day at the end of September 2023 thanks to a good friend. It was a busy day with maybe 1500 people. The hanger was open with vendors selling some very interesting army surplus type gear, beers, books and more. The main event was outside in the sky as it was flying day. The Lancaster, three spitfires, and hurricane and a P51 Mustang were all flying and it was a fabulous privilege to see these warbirds back to life in the sky. Bring your own folding chairs as it's standing on the concrete looking up for the most part. The cafe is pretty good with Eccles cakes, sausage rolls and a good selection of sandwiches. I'd you can use the overflow car park as it's a much shorter walk to the cafe and hangar.

Visited on Monday, 14.08.23. While we were on holiday in tattershall Lakes. Amazing history, very interesting and amazing, seeing the planes. The tour guides know their history. This is a working airbase, so no bags are allowed in. And phones need to be on aeroplane mode. Would recommend.

A very good time spent here. The guided tour was excellent and well presented by our guide, Colin. A good number of aircraft undergoing service work as we were taken around. The museum was very interesting with plenty to take on board. We used the small cafe for a good cuppa and the shop seemed well stocked with items mostly relating to the BBMF. For me, it was a little emotional too as one of the aircraft belonged to the Squadron my father did his national service with in 49-51.Time well spent, go see for yourself.

Fantastic tour from the lovely James who was not only funny but incredibly knowledgeable about all things Battle of Britain. Some of the stories he told were very moving. He was great with the children in the groups and got them involved in the tour too. He was generally just a fabulous host! The tour was excellent and totally worth the very small entrance fee! After the tour, we also saw Typhoons taking off and landing and were also lucky enough to see the Lancaster wheeled out for engine testing. What a beast!

This was my second time at the Battle of Britain memorial flight, first being August last year and it was just as interesting the second time as it were the first, the tour guide Pete (Pedro) did an amazing job explaining all the aircraft and their history as well as answering any questions we had. This won't be the last time I visit, we plan on coming again. I'd highly recommend this to anyone, even the slightest bit interested in aviation and more specifically WW2 aviation. Not only do you get to see the BBMF hanger, but you can also see the active RAF personnel and you can also watch the Typhoons take off and land regularly from the main road.

Loved it. Superb tour around these historical war birds. So much to see and learn from the guide. Ours was amazing. See the maintenance and technical crew at work maintaining them ready for displays around the country.Great gift and coffee shop available with reasonable prices.Free parking and before you go in walk along the fence line for a view of the RAF Typhoons.
