So glad I got to hear about this fabulous little place...not exactly on our doorstep, but worth the little cross-country jaunt for the skill and service you get from David.Just had him put the finest of edges on 10 of my assorted blades — from a filleting knife to a set of Global chef's knives — first class!

I phoned and was offered immediate attention to my axe which was a bit sad.I arrived and was asked if I was prepared to wait as it would take 15 minutes or so.I was happy and I was offered a seat and a cup of tea.Really good service.Thank you very much.Will always use your service in the future.Cost was very good too.

Took my scissors here for the first time today. Couldn’t rate the experience highly enough. Had a chip on one of my blades and it was done while I waited. Dave is a lovely guy and I’ll be returning here with all my kit in the future for sure.

Fantastic job done sharpening my (dog grooming) blades. I also bought some of their blade oil and its the best one I have ever used. I have tried a few different ones from well known brands but will definitley be using this one from now on.

I had let my flint and flames knifes become dull. Baughurst blades did an amazing job of sharpening them. They are wicked sharpening again, they also oiled the handles and they look like new.I couldn't recommend them highly enough, so pleased I look my knives to them. Thank you

Fantastic service. Cup of tea whilst I waited and my garden clippers worked like new again. Also purchased a nice opinel knife whilst I was there for my foraging and allotment picking, of which was great value at under £10. The shop also doubles / features an equestrian tack shop in case you require any essentials. Dave and Tracey are both lovely people and the dogs are friendly. Lovely country location.

It was the end of the main gardening season so a chance to get three pairs of shears sharpened. I can certainly recommend Baughurst Blades. Very reasonable price plus an excellent job. Great customer service and even a cup of tea and a biscuit. What else can one ask for so give them a call. As I travelled from Oakley the boss even offered to do them while I waited. 5 Star service.
