Alladins cave stocking everything diy and beyond. Fantastic choice but sadly rather expensive. If you need it they'll probably have it. Great for a browse.

A querky little hardware shop with lots of different nik naks that will A - Be a life saverB- You will never useService was great guy behind the till was very friendly and helpful to boot. Unfortunately they didn't sell the item I was looking for however I bought a couple of other bits and bobs and some good advice on the product I was looking for

We moved to Stonehaven a few months ago and I had a lot of DIY projects to do. This hardware store has everything, almost literally. It’s a trek to B&Q in Aberdeen which might be worthwhile if you need more stuff but otherwise, I strongly recommend having a look around Nickel & Dime. Their wide choice of small packets of screws at £1.99 is an example but they also have tools, household stuff and branded filler, silicone, no more nails and paints. The quality is good and the prices mostly ok, and actually lower than B&Q in many cases. Be aware that they close at 5pm and are not open Sundays.

Great range of various items that wouldn't ordinarily be found under one roof. Perfect for specific requirements for small to medium DIY jobs around the home and office. Friendly staff and everything is laid out so it's easy to find.

Very nice friendly staff always able to help . They sale nearly everything you would need . They have up to 8 people in store at one time with distances on floor.
