An excellent addition to the city. I'm much more concerned about the endemic of poor parking from cars then I'm from the occasional scooter.

I’m gonna be completely honest here, I’m not gonna let the love I have for these things go against my honest reviewOtherwise I would’ve gave five starsStarted using these one morning when I was walking up to a shopping centre about 6 in the morning. Don’t ask I needed some milk I saw it lying on the grass and I was curious how they worked so I googled scooter and it literally popped up instantly I downloaded the app you don’t need a full license you can drive on a provisional. I waited in the street for about 10 minutes until I was accepted and I used them ever since until they got removed I had three accidents on them Both of them due to the brakes I know I shouldn’t drive on the payment, but every time I drove on the road cars kept binging their horn at me, even though I wasn’t doing anything wrong So when I was on the payment, I saw somebody coming I Slowed the scooter and as I got off it randomly took off on me, I pressed on the brakes and nothing it pulled me forward Went into the air with me still holding and it crashed back down and smashed into my ankle. I couldn’t walk for a week I had to go hospital Second time, it was a bit wet and I went over a puddle and I fell over and cut my arm and the third time I crashed into a wall once again due to the brakes so they definitely are not safe, and for some reason, even though they are built for the road cars seem to think you shouldn’t be on the road so they should make it more known to the public that they are allowed on the road because you just get targeted and people swearing at you for using them in the road, but you’re allowed to do it. That’s why I drove them on the payment, so yeah if they ever came back, they would need some proper things in place

Is there anyway in which you can deter your Voi scooter user from just leaving their scooters in the middle of pavements. so dangerous for pedestrians - not least people who have visual impairments. This happens all the time in Harborne (B17) - see them just dumped everywhere, right in the middle of pavements. It's bad enough that they just leave them in the street, but when they leave them in the middle of a pavement, it's extremely inconsiderate and thoughtless!

Generally these have worked well once I've gotten used to them, however they are certainly quite dangerous. They go at high speed and are expected to go amongst traffic - in Bham!!I had an accident on one today as the brake failed and my phone is now damaged. The app also played up big time and the navigator screen kept closing. I was overcharged because it wouldn't let me end my ride even though I parked up in a VOI scooter thingy and then they had the cheek to email me and say I didn't send a scooter pic even though I did. Anyway to get to my point, my phone is damaged. They refunded me 2 effing pounds and told me to contact my phone insurance. I won't bother with these again, I'll get a flamin bus.

Fun way to travel, but GPS isn't accurate enough... It stopped the scooter because it thought it was in a no travel zone (it wasn't) and wouldn't let me park it in an empty bay because it thought I was parking it in the full bay next to it.In both circumstances I had to move 20 metres to the right to get GPS into the right position. This meant riding on a pavement and parking next to a lamp-post.My trip ended up costing £8, partly because it took me 5 minutes to park, but as there were 3 of us, an Uber would have been cheaper
