I went to Pollards after having tried and failed to get contact lenses at Vision Express. I struggled getting them in and out at Vision Express and was told that contact lenses weren't for me.The Pollards team managed to get me fitted and taking them in and out by myself on my first visit. The teaching, patience, professionalism and all round service was on a completely different level to that which I had experienced at Vision Express. I can't thank the Pollards team enough, having varifocal contact lenses is literally life changing!Thoroughly recommended! Thank you!

Brilliant Optition!!!OMG..... where do I begin, I had an eye test for the first time at Pollards, I thought my eyesight had changed but wasn't sure due to having dry eyes caused by medication. What an amazing excellent optometrist Fizz is, he's absolutely brilliant very thorough and reassuring not only had my eyesight changed he noticed an ingrowing eye lash which he removed with no pain felt and informed me I had cataract and has referred me to have it removed.Fantastic service from friendly staff, my forever Optitions, brilliant service can't recommend them enough.Thank you so much.

I had my first eye test with Fizz, who put me at ease. Every part of the test was thorough and every step was explained. I was prescribed new glasses with the help from Emma to choose. Denise was patient and helpful during my contact lens trial. If you want a highly professional service with people who care then Pollards is the place for you.

I had the best possible experience at pollard’s opticians. The optometrist Fizz was friendly professional and very informative. He put me at ease when explaining my visual needs and gave me all the options to solve my issues with pros and cons. Denise then talked me through the options and helped me to make the best frame choice along with Emma who also contributed. From a non spectacle wearer I am now wearing a pair of varifocals glasses easily and the frame fits so well I hardly notice they are there! Cannot recommend this practice enough- thank you so much!!

Absolutely fantastic, my son has nystagmus as well as an eye drift, all of the team at Pollards were absolutely brilliant with him from his eye test with Matthew, his review with Fizz, his glasses choice with Denise, and his glasses fitting with Emma, nothing was too much trouble - we will be back!! Fantastic professional service. The team really put you at ease here. After only two visits I now have vision in my left eye after 8 years of blurred vision.
