From the initial meeting and quote from Peter to the the fortnight build with Pat and Nathan, I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Peter’s customer service was exemplary and Pat and Nathan worked in blistering heat for two solid weeks without complaint. Their attention to detail was a joy to see and it was the little things like sweeping up every day that stood out. It was the least we could do to keep them going with lots of bottles of water, lollipops and ice creams! If you want a competitively priced quote and an excellently finished build at the end, then we would say look no further than this company. We have a 30's house that needed replacement windows and doors, cladding & guttering. We found that getting sensible quotes from window companies was easier said than done as the work was quite challenging. Peter was really straightforward to deal with and grasped what we were trying to do and helped with creative and sensible ideas, displaying a great deal of interest in the project.The quote was good and the work carried out promptly and efficiently, with a great team of workers who were considerate and pleasant throughout, who could not have been more helpful or enthusiastic, despite the work being done in December weather. Our grateful thanks to all of them.Peter is now arranging for the construction of a conservatory for us; we would strongly recommend this company, our house looks lovely and the quality of product and fitting is first class.

Peter and his team have made an excellent job of fitting our entire house with new triple glazed windows. After meeting with Peter to get a quote, we were very impressed with his honest and straight forward manner - which did not falter throughout the entire process of ordering and fitting. The companies team of skilled fitters were excellent; considerate, professional, pleasant mannered and cared very much about the quality of the job they were doing. The fitters even took the time to fix our front door hinges even though it was not Tarkas product or fitting! We are delighted with the first rate job done by Peter and his team and would recommend them to anyone.

We have used Tarka for numerous jobs including having new aluminium tiles put on conservatory roof excellent job even the manufacturer came to assist the workmen and to instruct all arranged by Peter. This has made another room not hot in the summer and not cold in the winter. Very, very pleasant. Just had decking installed from the conservatory door over patio to the lawn for ease of access. Good workmanship workmen very courteous and polite. Nothing too much trouble. Pleasant company to deal with. Will always deal with this company nothing too much trouble. Thank you guys.

The installation of diamond lead wood effect plastic windows has transformed our home and work on the conservatory is almost finished. It is difficult to find anything more than what has already been said about this company. Peter, the owner, is honest and down to earth. He listens to what you say and he acts immediately should the slightest detail not be right. The quality of the products he uses are first class and his team of fitters ensure that this quality is reflected in the work they do. Having your home disrupted by workmen is not good, but the team from Tarka were courteous and thoughtful (as were the outside Contractors that Peter used) which made the upheaval quite pleasant.
