I have 7 Bickerstaffe longbows with another on the way. They are the finest Bows I have ever come across and trust me I tried many, many makers before choosing Bickerstaffe. Once I shot a Bickerstaffe bow, that was it! Nothing else I had shot came anywhere close. Since then Pip has made 3 Longbows personally for me and they are works of art. You can't beat having Pip make a bow for you. You ring up Pip and tell him what you would like and he talks to you for a while about it and four weeks later your perfect bow arrives!! When Pip made my first Bow I knew what I wanted but couldn't really explain it very well. After a long and pleasant conversation, Pip made me a bow that was perfect for me in every way. He knew what I wanted better than I did!! SIMPLY THE BEST BOWS YOU WILL EVER LAY YOUR HANDS ON!! His knowledge is also second to none. Made specially for me by Pip, it is a 52# Single growth ring Hickory backed Ipe bow with a Purpleheart and Chackte Vega core. Between these two middle cores is a superfine lamination of Hickory heartwood. The bow length from string groove to string groove is 82. The overall length is 84 3/8". This bow is super smooth to draw and release

A traditional craft being preserved for the future. A superb quality product with an outstanding level of service and advice. I have two bows from Bickerstaffe and they will outlast me. What these guys don't know about the industry isn't worth a mention. Its a one stop shop for those looking to purchase a wide range of traditional bows and those looking for DIY kits. This is the place to go first to prevent wasting time and money as I unfortunately did, on cheap products sold with the wrong advice.An traditional craft coupled with a traditional service. Pip is great chap, and a very talented bowyer. Always willing to offer up advice, and does make some superb bows and arrows.

I purchased a 30 lb standard long bow T110903 (from Clicker's Archery in Norwich). It is BEAUTIFUL - to look at, to hold and to shoot. I can not recommend Bickerstaffe Bows enough. If you want a long bow and the price is within your range, don't hesitate. You will NOT regret it.
