Bad attitude from staff, used to turn up after shift hours claiming to have left their rucksack behind. Food would then go missing. No conversation with dad and would disappear into kitchen. One turned up one day covered in oil. Caught one of them looking into dad’s personal cabinet with torch light from phone. On one occasion they gave dad a cold shower. Refused to help dad into bed the day he fell while we were waiting for ambulance to take dad to hospital saying it was out with their remit. Dad later passed away in hospital. No out of hours contact number and nobody bothered to ask how dad was. 2 days after dad were into hospital one of the carers turned up at night again looking for “lost rucksack”

Minus five. Leaving things undone, display of attitudes when pointed out. Zero dress code, no badge, turning up an hour late and coming in an hour plus earlier. Preparing meals with coats and cross bags on.

I have been with Almond Blossom Care for almost approximately 3 years and can't praise them enough. The care I receive is exceptional. I am treated like a person as opposed to a number (which I experienced with previous carers). My carers with Almond Blossom treat me like a family member. They do not skimp on the care given and my personal care is given expertly and with good attention to detail. My carers are friendly and always ask how I am feeling and if I slept well. They prepare all my meals and serve them exactly as I like them. If they are delayed for any reason they always contact me to let me know. I am grateful every day that my hospital visit 3 years ago placed me with Almond Blossom Care. Thank you.

This application is what I am reviewing more than the personal care as I live away from the recipient and it’s really all I have to go on.Easy to register, access and navigate, I find it has provided me with a direct link to understand and connect with the recipients care more than I have previously. Besides the knowledge that they are receiving visits from these wonderful care givers three times a day, I can with the press of a button find out what they are eating, how they were feeling, and what is happening in their life, without the need for me to keep bothering them? It paints a daily picture for me as if I were a fly on the wall?A fantastic added service to the care given, for which we are truly thankful for..

I received absolutely shocking levels of so called care from this lot. The carers would go to sleep on my couch during their shift when their supposed to be supporting someone with severe mental health problems. Another worker was on a dating site on a video call to a woman in fife. They would turn up late or not at all or come in for 2 minutes take a bottle of juice from my fridge then leave. They never asked my how I was doing or feeling and showed a complete lack of professionalism. They actually made my mental health worse not better. Almond blossom is under investigation by social services as I'm not the only one who has complained. Absolutely terrible service.
