The town butcher is on Prestatyn High Street, half way up the slope on the right hand side.He has a good display and all the meats we bought, where of a high standard.The shop is well stocked and pristine clean and the butcher is only too keen to explain how the different joints etc are cooked.Orders for Christmas will be in the shop at the end of September.I can recommend him

In fact no trip to the town, would be complete with popping in for a browse, chat, and a purchase of sheer quality cuts from this outstanding Award winning Butcher.

The butcher was wonderfully friendly. We're from out of town (I should whisper quietly, from southern England). We bought some Welsh steak, which was suitably tasty though not quite as good as we hoped, and some Snowdonia cheese, which the butcher was kind enough to tell us all about. Couldn't recommend this butcher more in terms of being friendly and helpful. I'm not sure how good Welsh beef is so can't speak authoritatively about the steak, though based on this sample size English and Scottish beef might have the edge. I can't fault the service though!
