Alma Dental Practice

Thank you to Danielle and Lauren for giving up their lunchtime for me. I am a difficult and nervous customer who was made to feel at ease. My teeth and gums feel so much better. Thanks for the advice regarding allergies- wish I had had this advice years earlier! Recommend without reservation!

I cannot say enough good things about the team at Alma Dental. The reception team are first class, always happy to help and there to support and do whatever they can to assist you. The hygienists are so lovely, friendly and pleased to see you and remember all the small things about you, what’s going on, etc. really lovely. Every dentist I’ve seen here has been super reassuring, courteous and thoroughly superb. My dentist (Roshan) is without doubt, the best…Sorry guys, gotta have your favourite! Always feel reassured and in a safe pair of hands & that means the world to me, especially as someone who does not find it easy or comfortable at the dentist in in the first place. After months of waiting for my previous dentist to start the process for an implant and after overhearing many compliments about the practice, I decided to try Alma Dental, North Shields. From that very first phone call, I just knew this was where I wanted all my future dental work. I could not have received greater care! The team I have had the pleasure of meeting so far has been the lovely Ruby and Helen on reception. They are both so caring and patient and extremely helpful, and immediately made me feel at home. Lauren, their treatment coordinator and dental nurse is a true star. She is the beating heart of this place and I truly feel part of 'the family'! I have had several sessions of dental preparation work with the wonderful Harry McKenzie, who the lovely Carol was assisting. He is so incredibly calm and professional - a truly gifted dentist! I also had my first superb experience with the dental hygienist. What an incredible job Donna did! It was unlike anything I've experienced before! It has truly been an honour to meet all the gifted staff in this practice. I wish I'd found them sooner! I am writing this after having a tooth extraction and implant placement just yesterday. Though I was very nervous, everyone was swift to put me at ease and answered every question I had - from the sublime to the ridiculous! I am amazed at the talent of David Lamb. To do all the work he did with such ease and skill was incredible. The last of my nerves disappeared and I was filled with confidence. He made it easy and pain free. I think the lovely Kirsty was there with David and Lauren. I wish I'd asked her name. She let me prattle on nervously at the start with the patience of a saint! She did all that she could, alongside Lauren, to make me feel confident and calm about the whole thing. Yes, I was a wee bit tender afterwards but I can't believe how quickly that has passed! I am healing rapidly. And although my present dental work isn't quite completed yet, my teeth already look stunning! I can't thank each and every one of them enough! I can't recommend this practice highly enough!

Best dentist in the world and my hygiene work done by Dani today was literally life changing .. Other dentistry done by the wonderful Tanya..Also the ladies on the desk Lauren and Helen been looking after me since I joined the practice..Keep up the good work it has made such a difference to my overall health not just my teeth and gums..My patient name is Richard Duff ... Would definitely recommend this dental practice. I have had many good experiences there and the staff are lovely. I did recently have a couple of negative experiences but they went over and above to put things right and apologise which I think is all you can ask for and shows a really lovely genuine care for their customers.Thank you!!

Having not attended a dental practice for a number of years, I required urgent treatment for a tooth that had broken and was causing problems. I initially attended Roshan Singh, who put me at ease and explained to me my options. I opted to have the tooth removed and extraction took place there and then, without me having to go away and have it on my mind.I have today attended Donna Dorritt for a hygiene check and again felt very at ease, despite Donna having to deal with a serious amount of tartar on my teeth.At all times I have felt at ease, everything has been explained to me in a simple but very professional manner and all costs have been transparent from the start.Thank you Alma Dental for being so patient with me!!
