The Buddle Inn
Old traditional pub. Very friendly staff. Good middle of the road. Lots of fish on the specials board which were good quality.Most dishes could do with more sauce as they were a little dry. Curry was a little bland and needed some more spice.Kids meals good with good selection. Kids ice cream was top class wit selection of sauce, sprinkles and marshmallows.All in all a meal.

Came here on an evening and about to order from the Sunday roast menu and told that there were no Yorkshire puddings. My other half ordered the Sunday roast anyway: she left most of the roast potatoes as they were as hard as cannon balls. We asked the waiter when they were made and we were told they were made at lunchtime so they had potentially been sat on a hot plate for 8 hours. I'm neither a pub owner or a chef but how difficult can it be to prepare YP batter mix and then make them fresh during the day? Same goes for the roast potatoes. Maybe they save money but having a chef cook everything at lunchtime so the staff can just dish it up warm for the rest of the day. Poor show. The White Lion up the road is a much better bet. 2 stars as they had decent cask ales and the young waiter was unerringly polite and helpful.

A gorgeous country pub overlooking the sea. The smell of authentic pub, beer and food cooking was alluring and will surely be back to sample the food. Settled for a pint of cider and crisps in the sun and beer garden. Fantastic village, and walks to keep anyone occupied for a day or two.

Lovely food, friendly staff. Decent Atmosphere, nothing too special just your average pub/inn.Overall pretty nice place, although was not fond of the 'hidden' 10% staff tip added onto the bill at the end, seems forced to do so even though you can ask to remove it it's awkward to do so. If people want to tip they will.If your staff are relying on that 10% then pay them better.

A beautiful place to rest in Niton for a long summer evening. Outdoor settings were comfortable and the town is endearing and aesthetic. Careful of your footing on the floor, but I wouldn't change it!I ordered the steak, and it was just OK. Pricey and not a great cut. Thin and overcooked. Satisfying nonetheless!

The Buddle Inn
The Buddle Inn has got to be my favourite place to eat on the island. My first time there I had the crab Mac n cheese which was absolutely delightful. This time around only the Sunday menu was available, but we made do with spaghetti bolognaise and a vegan strudel. The staff is always lovely, and the venue itself is very inviting, with a nice outdoor area at the front. Big fan of the wallpaper!

enjoyed three separate visits at the Buddle over our week's stay in Niton, lured by the innovative loyalty app, but returning for the quality of the food, the friendly staff and the gorgeous weather in the garden. Loved the fish curry and mussels, but the seafood salad was by far my favourite, now where can I find that up here in the Yorkshire Dales? Thanks Buddle team!

Amazing location to start with, especially when the sun is out and sitting in the garden. Great choice of food on the menu, friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit
