Great bar with 8 hand pull and 30 taps of ale, cider and lager. Nice old pub with nice decor in suiting with the pub facade.

Lovely pub with a real local vibe despite being right in the centre of Oxford! A great amount of options from staple beers like Moretti, Guinness and Amstel contrasted with an array of craft beers and ciders. The Fruju is definitely recommended for fruity IPA enjoyers. The bartender was lovely and let us try a couple of beers before deciding on what we would order. There's a selection of games - cards, uno, backgammon etc. We enjoyed a bit of improvised 2 person poker.Real homely vibe, would definitely visit again when I'm back in Oxford.

Recently reopened after a long hiatus, 6 ales a couple of ciders, and 30 + craft taps, you really are spoilt for choice here, more contemporary than before. Gone is the bench seating, and replaced with high stools. Hate high chairs in pubs, stools though, that's cost you a ⭐, nobody feels comfortable perched on a stool, especially after a few beers.

The Grapes
a very nice pub, tastefully renovated respecting the traditions of an old pub, excellent choice of beer, friendly and professional staff, it has a big flaw, disgusting food with high prices for what it offers, frozen and burnt burger, the chef after more than half an hour from the order he had the courage to present a disgusting dish, with a meatball of something like stinky feet, dry and tasteless sauces. Too bad because the place is beautiful

We went on a Sunday, really busy which was a surprise. The food looked plentiful though we just had drinks. Not many low seating areas more high seats. Depends on your preference.

Really friendly staff who helped us plan for the half marathon, delicious food and they gave me a Bao bun to try for free. The whole pub had a lovely atmosphere. We will be back!

If you like a big range of cask and keg craft beers, this is the place for you! A beautiful long bar topped with a great range of cask and top taps, with an impressive row of at least 30 taps adorning the tiles on the back wall. Beers for every taste including sours, stouts and double IPAs. There's also some more well known top-tap lagers and ciders on offer too.Staff are really friendly, the vibe of the pub is really nice on a Saturday, relaxed but bustling - sound track was a great mix of 80s, 90s and 00s+ pop, indie and rock. They do vinyl requests too!

Didn't buy food, but the guy at our table looked like he was really enjoying his. Not every day you get to shake hands with a Science and TV star!Plus, the barman was incredibly knowledgeable about all the beers on offer, whilst lamenting the fact he hadn't been able to attend the 2023 Oxford Beer & Cider Festival that he'd had a hand in setting up just a day or two previously...
