If you are in Eigg on a day trip, you really do need a bike to see the island. This bike hire service provides quality bikes for a reasonable price. My recommendation is to cycle to the singing sands trail on the other side of the island.

Best thing I did renting a bike while on Eigg for a couple of days. Makes getting to the shop or cafe effortless wherever you’re staying. Friendly service with lots of good tips and top quality bike. I tried an e-bike for the first time when no-one was looking. Set up perfect for road and track.

Brilliant experience. The e-bikes are the best way to see Eigg. Very professional and personal service with lots of local information to help you make the most of your time on the island. Very easy to book and great communication throughout.

I'm so glad we discovered Eigg Adventures. Owain booked us in at short notice and was informative and helpful. He kitted us out with brand new bikes and helped us have a really enjoyable day of cycling on Eigg. Highly recommend for a fun family outing from Arisaig. Next time we'll stay longer!

We hired 3 e-bikes for a few hours on Eigg between the ferry times and it was so worthwhile. Got to explore the beautiful sites of Eigg with ease. Owain was so helpful throughout the entire process, giving us recommendations and suggestions for places to visit upon collection- would highly recommend!

High quality bikes (including child seats for a small extra fee). Very reasonably priced. The guy who runs it is a lovely gentleman who gave us all sorts of great advice about how to enjoy the island and was so friendly and genial. The Eigg community are famous for their community spirit and great attitude to life and this man is an exemplary member of this wonderful island. (Saw the dolphins btw!)

Hired electric bikes to get around the island, which was great on the big hills! They were lightweight and easy to use. Owain was great at recommending places to go and see and telling us about the island. Will defo be back to do some kayaking next time!

We took the ferry to Eigg on Monday 19th June, having planned to cycle round the island. My husband has an e-bike and I decided to rent one. I booked a day in advance and, when we arrived, Owain who runs the bike hire, had prepared for me a fantastic e-bike which was super fast and super reliable. Owain was really helpful and took time to explain about the bike and about the island of which he is understandably proud. The service he provides is first class - he was so kind and informative. I would definitely recommend renting his bikes.
