Had Sunday lunch and it was absolutely delicious and very tasty. Loved everything about it. Finished off with syrup sponge and custard. Again delicious. Nice to get piping hot food.Well priced. Will highly recommend and will be back. Staff excellent, very friendly. Chef should have a few gold stars.

Basic, no-frills pub in Wellesbourne. Cheap but good traditional pub food. Recently reopened after a major fire.

Called to see if they did takeaway as I really fancied pie n mash but didn't want to sit in the pub by myself. They told they didn't have a suitable takeaway container for pie n mash.... I could have something else or eat in..... oh I said.... they then came back with bring your own plate!!!!So glad I did. BEST PIE & MASH. Veg cooked well, beef melts in your mouth and the mash is so creamy!!!!I will be coming back with my own takeaway box!!!! 100% worth every penny!

Food & drink great prices. Staff friendly & efficient. Place looks great. Great to chill or have a laugh with friends. Lovely garden area & dog friendly.

I wish I'd stayed here, lovely people. Helpful and friendly staff, clean and tidy with a great atmosphere.Good selection of beer, pop in for a pint.

The only reason I gave 1 star is because I couldn't go any lower , waiting 45mins for 4 toasted sandwiches., which were ham, cheese tomato and onion. They toasted the ham and cheese and put the tomato and onion in cold after toasting and obviously an afterthought as we had to remind them. And as for the Tea, don't start me , had cold tea, next time I'll bring a flask ....
