Good site, doing a great job during the Covid workarounds. Staff are friendly and helpful always. Good range of recycling areas which means little goes to landfill/waste to energy.

This is a service we couldn't do without. Friendly helpful staff.Their Yorwaste compost is really good stuff and only 3 sacks for £10.

Most of the team here are sensible. However, it only takes one to let the side down. At the entrance I was greeted by a helpful gentleman who helpfully decided that yes my trailer was about 6ft. However, one of the older staff decided that after I had nearly finished unloading would get his tape measure out. he preceded to measure the trailer at 200cm, just over what is allowed. Therefore I will not be allowed in again. Is it any wonder that SBC has such a big problem with fly tipping. A sensible approach had been taken already. It only takes one to swallow the rule book and make a customer irate!

Really think you should up date this website, it does say your open on a Wednesday, which is totally untrue. Rather annoyed, after loading the car full of waste, and finding the place locked up, and having to unload the car, and reload on Thursday morning to make another journey to the waste recycling site.

Plenty of room. Skipws are well signed and there is usually staff to help direct to the right skip with a sense of humour aswell.
