Lucy Bakes

Absolutely recommend the steak and cheese pasty! Steak was cooked beautifully, pastry was just right, and the filling was juicy. If I had to be picky, and this is my only personal preference, I would've liked more salt and pepper, but 10/10! Well done Lucy!

Lucy Bakes has a new location and WOW! I pre-ordered 6 Pasties and 1x Sausage Roll. The girls were full of smiles and friendly, the counter wasCHOCCCAA with amazing bakes Savoury and Sweet with coffees and cans their is now a WIDER range to choose from. Quality is still just a 5 Star as it was back in foundry. The flavour of the pasties are just second to none!RUN don't walk to Lucy Bakes if you want a PROPER traditional Cornish Pasty.

Long wait for newly baked pasties ( all sold out before) which then arrived in too small amount. Waited again for at least 1/2 , this time reserved" them on paper in the shop.I was disappointed

Lucy kindly created a stunning masterpiece for my mother's 70th birthday, at a very reasonable price!I can't decide whether it tasted better than it looked or looked better than it tasted because it was so beautifully made, but also quite possibly the tastiest cake I've ever eaten!She gave me a nice list or flavours and fillings, and asked me to take my pick.We went for coffee flavour, with white chocolate hazelnut filling and it was incredible! Everybody loved it!Texture was absolutely perfect, and it the icing wasn't sickly at all, which meant we couldn't stop eating it!!Lucy also kindly added two small bottles of whiskey in the design as it's my Mum's favorite drink.I will definitely be using Lucy again for my father's 70th this October, she's doesn't know it yet though.Thank you again Lucy for putting a huge smile on my Mum's face!

I’m Cornish and have had a lot of pasties all over Cornwall but these are the nicest I’ve had taste home made

Absolutely delicious can’t rate these pasties or Lucy highly enough. Emailed the day before requesting no dairy or egg and totally accommodated no trouble at all. We had steak which was juicy and tender and cheese and onion. So pleased to have found an independent artisan baker, absolutely the best pasties in Hayle! Thank you Lucy

Got to be one of the best pasty cooks in Cornwall never disappoints. Her selection of cakes are one offs not to be found anywhere else. Plus services with a smile

Wonderfull pasty not over peppery and super hot. Well worth a visit. Do remember though she only bakes 2 or 3 days a week I believe and when we got there we were asked if we had ordered so guess that means as she only bakes small numbers if you want this tasty treat call ahead. Thankfully we now know and were lucky on this day to get one. Why not drive back into Hayle and park up overlooking the river and eat it while it piping hot.

I had the pleasure of trying one of your pasties today, my dad who is 87 and has lived in hayle for most of is life so he knows his pasties, got me and him a pasty for lunch today as i had come down from London ti visit, and yum what a treat, will definitely go back when I'm down there next.
