I have been a client with Prestbury dental practice since a very young age as my parents are also registered here. This year i've been having ongoing issues with one of my teeth which has left me with sleepness night due to the pain. Even though covid has restricted what they can do as a practice, I never felt i was left to suffer. A big thank you to all the team there and well done for powering on through this weird time. I needed an urgent tooth extraction, I was squeezed in the same day. I hadn't visited the Prestbury Practice before and from the moment I walked in there was a very comfortable friendly feeling. The lady on the reception was delightful, not only with me but with every single patient that entered during my time sat in the waiting room, she treated every patient with dignity and respect. Dr Bhavsar was calm and pleasant putting me at my ease ready for the extraction which was well executed. Thank you everybody for the best experience it could have been!

Today I had my first white filling. The procedure was fully explained before we started and my comfort was considered through out. Dr. Malik spent a lot of time packing the cavity and making sure the finish was a good one giving me a gods bite and room to floss round it.

I have been coming to this dentist for years in which time it has changed hands a few times and gone steadily down hill. I have had toothache for over a week now, so I rang up this morning and asked if there was any emergency appointments, luckily there was, so my appointment was on time more or less, I went in and explained to the dentist that I was suffering from toothache, she needed to do an x-ray and they shove this plastic thing in your mouth and your told to bite down which was incredibly painful as it was right on the poorly tooth, as she was putting this thing in my mouth her assistant opens the door because they have to stand out of the way whilst they take the x-ray ,at this point the dentist was still trying to position the plastic thing which was making me gag I felt so embarrassed incase a member of the public saw as the door was wide open . After the x-ray was ready the dentist explained that I had a very large filling in the tooth that was giving me the problem and that the root had probably died, and she showed me there was an infection which is why it's painful, she gave me 2 options, I could either have it removed or have root canal treatment that I would have to pay for myself privately and it would cost between £600£-700 which I couldn't understand as its covered under the NHS, and there was no guarantee it I would be successful I was then told to go to reception and book an appointment as I decided to have the tooth out I was then told there was nothing until 27th June but I could go on a cancellation list, I left not being given any advice as to what I should do in the meantime with regards the infection and the pain I'm in .

Today I had 2teeth extractions Dr Anita Malik and her team made it a very relaxing experience. At a future appointment we will look at replacement options.I have been going to this practice for many years and the new owners are continuing to give good care Thank you

Visited yesterday, 10+ years since seeing a dentist and my teeth are not good, felt at ease throughout, from the reception staff to the dentist very approachable yet professional, need a lot of work doing but feel a lot less anxious now, thank you.
