Abbey Meads Dental Practice

I've always had great service at Abbeymeads, for me and my family. They really put you at ease, we have seen three different dentists and they've all been lovely and really kind.

I'm a private patient at Abbey Meads dentist and had a half hour scale and clean recently. Robotic hygienist didn't seem to care and I was rushed in and out. Will definitely not be returning because she did a rubbish job as well! Put some polish on my front teeth, used a drill to polish them for less than 3 seconds and then said I was finished. Very bad.

Today I got treated by MelAfter chiping one of my visable teeth I was distraught that worse would happen and lose the tooth.To make things worse I am a very nervous patient..Mel was amazing from beginning to end and so was her nurse. Reassuring me the whole time what they where doing. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a long term fix as there is a few issue but Mel has been able to bur me some time and get the tooth fixed for now.. for a nhs practice you wouldn't exspect this treatment and kindness conserding how busy the clinic was.. definitely not as nervous as I once was.. thankyou Mel and your nurse

Same friendly receptionist with dark hair tied up in a bun, but this dental practice has gone downhill quickly. Dental hygienist in corner room close to reception desk is unprofessional, rude and rushes to do just an 'okay' job. Avoid! Go elsewhere.

I have been a member of this practice for some time now and service has always been good. However, this morning I have just had treatment from their new dentist Luke and I can say without doubt it was the best dental experience I have had in many years. I had 2 fillings and a clean. Luke kept me well informed on everything he was doing and there was very little discomfort throughout the entire process. For me dentistry is not just about technical excellence but also personnel skills and Luke has both of these in abundance.

A full team of excellent staff. The reception staff are polite, welcoming, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. My dentist, Neam, has to be the most gentle and kind, and considerate dentist ever. Having had some difficult treatment over recent weeks, the team have helped me deal with excruciating pain in a reassuring way. Great work everyone, I highly recommend this practice.

I have been going to this dental practice for many years and it has always been average to good. The reception staff are good problem solvers and the dentists have by and large been good and friendly enough.For my last two appointments I have seen Luke Levy who is hands down the best dentist I have ever had. He is professional, puts you at ease and has a real conversation with you about your teeth (it sounds silly but I have on countless occasions in the past just been told ‘floss’ and that is the extent of my appointment). Thank you, Luke!

I had an emergency appointment with a painful tooth.I was quickly seen after going through NHS 111.I would like to say that the whole experience was very pleasing with curtious staff especially the dentist.He explained all options but I decided to have an extraction which was preformed brilliantly with no pain.Thank you all

I've been coming here for almost 18 years, along with my daughters. The reception staff & dentists have always made us feel welcome. Although I don't have fillings, I have needed 3 new teeth. My dentist, Luke Levy was wonderful. He wanted to make sure that the fit was perfect, so much so that he rejected 2 lots of plates until the final fit was correct, I don't even need fixadent! I can't thank him enough for giving me my smile back. He explained everything he was doing so that I was confident of the outcome. I hope he stays.
