David McCabe was a joy to deal with. He provided us with a very prompt professional quote and communication with him all through the process from start to completion of the job was a pleasure. Trying to organise a start date on our building was tricky as much had to be taken into consideration due to the nature of the work he was to undertake and the Shetland weather but David made this a painless process for us.David worked tirelessly on site from start to finish and we are extremely impressed with the quality of his work and his professionalism. He's done a fantastic job and would highly recommend him. We wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

We have had a variety of work undertaken by David this winter, ranging fromboundary dry-stone dyke repairs, interior footings and walls repairs and window and fireplace lintel replacements; in an 1850's stone built house renovation. All David's work has been of a very high standard, he is professional, he turns up on time, works hard and cleans up after himself; you can't ask for more than that! I've already booked a couple more jobs in.

Dave rebuilt 2 drystone walls for us, one had completely collapsed over our log store. What a fantastic job he did in repairing and restoring both walls to such a high standard and respecting the building’s heritage. Great guy also and can’t recommend highly enough.

David constructed thirty metres of natural stone retaining walls after a house extension project at our in Shetland after being recommended by our main building contractor.He did a first class job at a very reasonable price and I would have no hesitation in recommending his services to anyone requiring masonry and drystone works.
