It's so peaceful

Had a wonderful day work retreat here.The staff couldn't have been more welcoming or friendly.Beautiful area full of peace and tranquility.Will definitely be returning.

The gardens are well maintained in a very peaceful atmosphere. The hostess is lovely and supplied us with coffee and cakes at a most reasonable price. If you are looking for quiet and a stressless time, then this place is for you.

Great retreat

Lovely garden open for the National Garden Scheme. Very helpful volunteers, wonderful cakes to enjoy with tea and coffee and plants to buy as well. All set in a peaceful and tranquil setting.

Ferrar House - refuge to those looking for a retreat or a quiet place for contemplation and insights. Steeped in history with a spiritual story this place offers a tranquil setting surrounded by beautiful countryside. The house itself offers accommodation if you wish to stay, or tea and the most superb tasting cakes. There is a small foyer and reception selling small booklets and other things. The staff are very helpful and meals are good. There is a small church by the side of the house which is where this all began. Go along, visit and find out the story of the Ferrar family for yourself, its fascinating.
