Jay - what an absolute legend. I decided in my wisdom to change the shells on my old car keys as the buttons were eroding.Swapped over the pcb and the blades into the new shells. Car wouldn’t start. Contacted KAT and spoke to this knight among men. He advised me that I’d managed to throw away the chips in both shells. After a few minutes of bin dipping, I found the old key shells and put the chips in the new shells. Two shiny new working keys.His knowledge and advice was impeccable. I’ll definitely be using these guys again when I need car keys sorting and save myself the hassle. Thanks very much!!

Excellent service, quickly come out to fix lock and replace with a new lock. Friendly, calming, reassuring (when worried how to get in) and knowledgeable skilled staff, arrived promptly unlocked door and replaced the lock. Recommend KAT locksmiths professional service.

I had a great experience, I recently had a major problem with my ignition key for my Ford Transit Custom. I rang Jay who was extremely helpful, he advised me that there was an issue with the ignition barrel on this particular model as he'd replaced 22 of them to date He advised me to bring my vehicle to him, it was 4pm, to my amazement he replaced the main ignition barrel and programmed the same key in speedy time. He was extremely fair on his cost and I would have no hesitation in using him again. Thank you

Fantastic Professional Service. My lock broke on my flood door and i was trapped inside, one call to the professionals and within a couple of hours Keiran had popped my door back open, identified the faulty part and replaced it. the lock now works better than ever.If ever there was the right time for saying the right man for the job this is it. The night before we were going on holiday the lock broke on our back door and we couldn’t lock it, we called KAT and Kieran arrived within 40 minutes , we needed a complete new door handle mechanism which needed to be ordered because of the time of night, Kieran managed to secure the door and lock it and arrange to fit the new parts when we returned from holiday. As arranged he came and fitted the new parts when we returned and the door is now working perfectly.Very reasonable price and excellent service, would highly recommend

Had an old Citroen C3 key that was I thought totally knackered. Wish I had taken a photo of it with the circuit board. Rang a few places and was told £160 replacement. Jay @ KAT’s said bring it in and let’s see if it can be fixed!Unbelievably he fixed it and for £35. Needed a new outer cover and he cleaned up the circuit board. Fantastic service and one very happy customer. Highly recommend.

10/10 service! The best in the business.I called many locksmith to make me a car key for my 83’ bmw. Everyone said it cant be done due to the age. KAT locksmith was able make me a key based on the ignition barrel within 24hrs!!!Thank you so much I was stuck with this problem for months
