The Cobbled Kitchen

Just to be clear: Danielle is an expert teacher, she lights up the kitchen with her enthusiasm and ability. She has given me new confidence in the kitchen, some real skills and a determination to cook more and better. I would recommend Danielle to anyone. Altogether a brilliant birthday present.

Danielle came to our home over three separate private lessons to help inspire us with healthy cooking suitable for a growing toddler. Our nanny really enjoyed the sessions and gained so much in confidence. The meals were healthy, innovative and tailored for our family and dietary requirements. Danielle is an excellent teacher and a really lovely person: I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the private lesson service.

I am now an official cobbler! Danielle is a fabulous teacher and a wonderful cook - I learned more from her in just two and a half hours than I have ever read from all the cookery books I've acquired over the years, including skills and tips that make all the difference to the taste of a dish. She inspired me to have more confidence, to try a more intuitive approach to cooking, and less of a slave to the cookery book in all its shiny promise (which usually results in failure of some kind, and put me off cooking after years of family fussiness and dull nursery cooking). Danielle is patient and understanding, and her teaching is easy to follow and, well, just natural. Not only that, but I came away with 5 delicious meals, menus and, much to my family's delight, an enthusiasm and sparkle to be back in the kitchen. I can't thank you enough, Danielle, and I'll certainly be back for more!

Danielle was amazing during our cooking class. We cooked a flexitarian tray bake, curry, arancini, risotto, and ramen. She was constantly giving tips throughout, and all the food that we made tasted brilliant! Couldn’t have asked for a better teacher, thanks Danielle!
