We probably picked the worst day of the year, (weather wise) but still had such a great time. We were total beginners, but Adrian was great and had us paddling up the river Ouse in no time. Looking for to the next adventure. Highly recommended!

Recently did an Explore Award here and have got to say I'm so glad I did it. Adrian is a really good instructor because he doesn't just show you what to do, he properly coaches you and allows you to learn and practice the skills over and over. The course builds confidence but also the understanding of thorough preparation for a good day's (lifetimes's) paddling.Brilliant - will be back to hopefully do some more individual coaching and maybe a river trip or two if I can get a space. There is a reason that they book up quickly!

I recently attended a two hour taster course run by The Kayak Coach. Paul, the instructor did a superb job and would have scored a straight 10/10 in each box on a feedback form. He was safety conscious in a sensible way; affable; made everyone feel comfortable and provided me with an excellent introduction to kayaking. I was particularly impressed with the offer of a hot shower!

We took our two children, along with two of their friends for a two hour kayak session - the kids all had an absolute blast!Adrian was a brilliant host, and a patient (and funny) teacher to them all. Even our daughter, who was a little nervous at first, finished the session buzzing about it.Would highly recomend to anyone interested. Outstanding coach and kayaking experience - I did an introductory morning river trip in 2017 and have just come back to do a 2 hour coaching session with my family this year. Adrian was great, dealing well with people of different levels, and massively enthusing my 8 year old son (and me!). I can't recommend TKC enough!

We had a great time with TKC on Saturday, as part of a Birthday celebration.The setting on the Adur was just perfect. Who knew that this part of paradise existed so close to Brighton?!Our coach (Adrian) led the group really well and was very patient, despite a number of us being amateurs or just big kids... Hope we didn't give you too much of a headache Adrian!!Such a perfect activity and location for adults and little ones alike. Thanks for a great day. We'll definitely be back.

My daughter and I had an introductory 4 hour session with Adrian from The Kayak Coach and it was absolutely superb. We learned the basics of paddling and safety and had such a good time doing it my daughter is now intent on taking kayaking up as a sport.As well as the coaching, the general tips, experience and good advice will set us up well to go and practice ourselves.I can recommended this for anyone in our position wanting to have a good time and learn paddling, or even just spend some time on the water with family or friends.
