The offers that they have are ALL a huge lie ! That 2 for 1 glasses ? I ordered a pair of varifocals lenses and when I asked how much does frames costs the store assistant told me that are included in the glasses price but the second pair I have to choose for selected frames. The eye test told me is included and the second pair should be varifocals. Guess what ? Eye test - £30; second pair £30 (lenses just for reading !); frames Prada £200 (!!!); Hoya lenses £330 no coating ! so I have to pay almost £600. Guess what ! Prada frame very poor quality I had to come back after a week because I could lost a lens and even repair the issue is still there. Hoya lenses are nothing different by those more cheaper get in Specsavers and the reading glasses have lenses that i could buy from Pounland with £5 because are too thick ! I complained and the optician AGREED to put lenses on reading ones with the biggest Index( means thinner !), and change the frame and Hoya lenses. After two months he just mock on me giving me the same glasses !When I asked for refund he insulted me with 50% refund. Now I will go to Obundsman. Save your money and wasted time for poor quality from a cheater optician, avoid the place !

I visited the store today. I had an eye test without any appointment booked and have purchased two pairs of glasses. The bigger chains cannot offer the service that this independent offers. We should be supporting businesses like this and why wouldn't we. Good value for money, great frame selection and the personal service you can only get from an independent.

Very disappointed with service and attitude of the owner. Refused to refund me the monies on two pairs of glasses which I bought but couldn't see from and pocketed £200 for the privilege which was the deposit I paid. I wouldn't recommend at all. Argumentative and unpleasant

Mr Omar has been my optician for contact lenses and glasses for over 30 years. In that time the service and value has been first class. His attention to detail and overall advice, especially when it comes to eye health, is second to none. His staff are also super friendly, knowledgeable and long standing.In all, a fabulous association that I hope continues.

Bought my glasses there about 3 years ago, and when I have slight problems with them (like over time falling off my nose or the frame being slightly bent) they always helped me out with it and sorted it out. Thank you. Thoroughly recommended.

The best in Leicester!!! Omar is the man, always gives me discounts on the branded eyewear.One thing i suggest is to fire Ken, he is useless, rude and arrogant. Wouldn’t help my son who was looking for reading glasses.Overall 10/10

Friendly and understanding staff and good delivery time.

Extremely rude staff. I went in to try a few frames as I am looking for a new pair of glasses, only for the employee to tell me, in quite a rude and snappy manner, that I had to wait if I wanted for her to unlock the displays because she was busy. Needless to say I left, because if that is how they treat you when you enter the store, I cannot even imagine the customer service once you have actually bought a pair!

This one staff was rude. Constantly sighing whenever I asked something and not being helpful. Ordered frames and glasses that first came losen that the glass fell out as soon I got it. Got my glasses after a whole month and half as delivery date keeps being pushed.

Went here as was recommended by a friend. I had some glasses from a friend of mine in Poland who is an optician but they needed adjusting slightly, I took them to my normal optician but they struggled to adjust them saying it's because they are thick plastic. EyeCenter sorted them straight away and now they fit perfectly.
