Fishey Business

Great aquarium needs and all aquatic for outside ponds, fish look healthy, I brought 5 fish and plants, all good very pleased.

Great place and very helpful staff. The fish are doing amazing in thier new forever home.

On visiting the shrimp tanks were full of harmful worms (planaria) and parasites (scutariella japonica) that will kill the shrimp and their eggs will be carried home by unsuspecting customers to proliferate in their tanks. The tank conditions were also filthy and also harmful for the shrimp.I have informed the company twice about my concerns and clearly they do not care about their animals as no action had been taken, so from now on I will be steering clear of this shop. I advise anyone else to do the same.

Friendly service, good selection of fish, including marine fish. A bit cramped, but I liked how a lot of the aquariums around the shop had fish in them

I have used their water in the past for my reef tank, I started to get very high parameters, so tested their ro water, used two testers and both came outaround 40tds. When I mentioned it I got told the water is 0 or there abouts. From that I decided to start making my own. I just popped in to buy a tub of salt, I've been buying it in two of my local shops for £30 for 10kg, Fishey Business price is £46.99 for the exact same thing. I mentioned it to Steve, his answer was ''I don't know why they are so cheap''. I've come home and checked Paraquatics site, they do it for £28. Last time I set foot in Fishey Business I'm afraid, I know shops are finding it hard but I don't want to be ripped off either.

I bought my tire tread eel 6 months ago he was about 4 inches. thank to fishy business great advice on our tropical tank he has thrived and we now have many other fish all from the store. Because of the Great advice we have now bought a marine start tank from the store. My 6 year old son has now took a great interest in looking after all the tanks the staff are brilliant with my son and are always so helpful and lovely they always give great advice and spend time explaining what is best for out tanks thank you fishy business

Visited today to pick up some new additions to the tank. The shop has a very nice selection of both tropical and marine fish along with live plants. The chaps are very helpful and give helpful advice on what to buy, and they actually care where the fish they are selling are going to, asking what size tank i have to make the best possible match.

The best aquarium shop in Eastbourne, granted there isn't many in Eastbourne to compare with. But they do have a decent selection of fish, and seem to have well maintained tanks and premises.

I had a tank emergency and phoned to find out the prices of a temporary home for my tropical fish whilst the water damage was rectified. They asked how many I had and were helpful with recommending suitable tanks. I'd definitely return. They had a wide variety of fish which all looked very healthy as did their plants. Some nice tank accessories too.
